The overall experience is the best we have ever had. No the rooms aren't very fancy, but the staff goes above and beyond to give you the best time. Their friendliness together with all the extras, like the heated pool, the free snacks, the popsicle line, movie nights etc makes it the best experience ever! The kids didn't want to leave. Thank you SO much for everything!! We loved staying with you!

We’ve stayed at Magic Castle Inn a few times and always have a great experience! The staff is amazing — Darren and the front desk team were so kind, and the Kevin was fantastic. The rooms feel like one-bedroom apartments with full kitchens and comfy beds. They offer free snacks, drinks, and a complimentary breakfast, which is a big plus — especially for families. There are lots of perks for kids, too. And the location is perfect — close to all the top tourist attractions. Great service, great people, great place. We’ll definitely be back!

The staff were amazing and friendly. The perks of laundry, ice-cream, drinks, breakfast and ice blocks made the kids and parents very happy. The pool was fun and open 24/7 so the kids could enjoy it after a long day out sight seeing.

The sketchy neighborhood is totally out of their control. The outside of the building is run down, which freaked me out when we pulled up. (Once you are inside the "hotel compound," it feels very safe and clean) They do charge for parking. The breakfast has no hot food, just toast and cereal. Also, carrying heavy bags up and down stairs sucks as there are no elevators. (The absolutely amazing man at the desk when we got there carried some of them for us, which was so kind) The pros FAR outweighed the cons, and the service and fun freebies made the stay so memorable. We are excited to come back to this hotel in the future.

Pros - the staff were all incredible! Seriously, I could not have asked for better customer service! My grown kids said that it was the best hotel ever because of the ice cream machine, pop machine, fancy coffee machine, and complementary snacks. My daughter was so impressed she had to buy a popcycle hotline t-shirt (which they sell at the front desk). The walk to hollywood Boulevard is about 5 minutes. There is a subway station about 8 minutes away on Hollywood Boulevard that you can take to Universal Studios (it is one stop away) We 100% will be back !

Can’t fault our stay at all.

The customer service is amazing. From the second you arrive the staff are so friendly, attentive and committed to ensuring you are extremely well looked after. Early check in, complementary bfast and snacks, love the popsicle hotline, and they even did all our laundry and allowed us an 8pm late checkout. AMAZING!

Everything! Our family had a 5 night stay at the Magic Castle Hotel and felt like it was a home away from home! The staff are so down to pool is heated to a beautiful temp, complementary snacks, breakfast and laundry facilities. We had the most time and I’m so glad that we chose the Magic Castle Hotel to spend our last few nights of our trip.

The facilities are quite dated. Beds were a bit uncomfortable but we were happy to stay here given the positives above.

Free snacks, ice cream machine and soda fountain. The staff were super friendly and do your laundry for free as well. Incredible customer experience and good location that is close to the main strip of Hollywood.

We had the best time at the Magic Castle. Wish we could of stayed longer. It was our first time travelling international, the Magic Castle was our very first experience of the USA. Everyine made us feel so special and welcome. It really set us up for the best family vacation ever. A truly was a magical experience. One of our highlights.

Our only concern was that we had limited information after we were evacuated due to the Runyon Canyon fire. We were able to get out of the hotel well, but in the confusion, we did not have to have any direction on where to evacuate. A tough situation for the hotel, but it was very stressful for visitors to LA who had nowhere to go. Management was exceptional in discussing our concerns and feedback when we were allowed to come back and could not have been more welcoming or helpful.

The staff were amazing! We loved the location and the facilities available to us. Our kids loved the snacks and ice cream machine. The parents loved the free laundry room! So very welcome after a long trip to be able to wash clothes when needed. The Magic Castle is the perfect spot to stay in LA.

Everybody likes their own style of bed. It’s tough to get a good night sleep when you’re away from home. For me, the bed was a little hard, but for someone else it was probably perfect.
