We had a 4 night stay and the first two nights were fine. On the third night (Friday) we returned from visiting friends to find no parking places for our vehicle. We were forced to park out near the road a serious distance from our room. Fortunately the problem was not present for our fourth night.

We were visiting friends at a nearby campground which made the location ideal. The motel wasn't noisy. It was very clean.

There was no breakfast served. Also the bed was NOT definitely Queen size. Also the beds were in different rooms making it tough to have our 2 year old kid sleep in the separate room/bed. The rooms were clean but old!

the location was good, the property was quiet and safe. they arranged for a pickup for the ferry to Mackinaw island.

It was strange that we had to check in at the property next door. We were confused as to which features of each place we could use, so we just stick to our room.

The bathroom was really clean, aside from one strange spot on the wall. There were a couple of extra chairs in the room, which is always nice.

The grounds are very run down. The room was shabby but comfortable. I registered for three people but there were only towels for two people and no one around to ask for more towels. On the second day we stopped by the office and staff wa unfriendly and not helpful.

The location was great - could walk to the ferry and restaurants. The bed was comfortable. The staff on the first day was friendly and helpful.

our rooms were clearly looking for an urgent renovation. our bed was clearly broken. wifi inexistent and not working, router probably too far from the nearby hotel as Thunderbird, Starlight and Budget Inns are now all under the same organization.

good position to reach Mackinac Island ferries and slightly lower price compared to nearby solutions. friendly reception and team. parking while visiting Mackinac Island.

Price was right but the room was small and only had one towel and 1 wash cloth etc couldn't tell if pool was running just look vancant. Not appealing

The housekeeping crew is slacking big time cob webs on the headboards dirt in the tub lamp shades look like they were from when you could smoke in the room smelled like a wet dog of the homeless.

The price was what a place should charge for a roof over your head for a night. The location was near the location I had to be the day.

Front desk for checking in and out was in hotel next door. No phone in room to contact the front desk. Toilet was loose.

Beds were incredibly hard and useless. Old and very used. Did I mention - hard. No outlets! The very few that were there were filled with the lights, TV, fridge, micro - etc. The room was overly dark. We had to use flashlights to see sometimes. One double bed was against the wall, making it impossible to get to. Tiny TV, really tiny. 19" maybe. No security lock on entrance door, just a separate deadbolt with a keyed entrance on the outside. I'll stop there.

Price, it was very cheap. Fridge and micro was nice. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Bathroom sink outside bathroom was good - and nice size. Shower OK, toilet worked. Fairly quiet.

Tv and internet did not work. Internet was very spotty. We asked for main floor and when we got there it was on 2 nd floor. Mom is handicapped

You had to go to the Thunderbird hotel next door to check in. Towels were in the closet area because one towel bar was ripped off the wall, and the other one was just hanging off the wall by some screws. Needs some updating and repairs completed.

Carpet was stained and nasty looking. Tv was extremely small and difficult to view from bed. Molding was off the wall and shower/tub in rough shape. Kind of annoying to have to go to another property to check in. Walls are very thin. Definitely could hear your neighbors.

Price was great for a one night stay. Room was clean and smelled good. Beds were comfortable. Had a microwave and fridge.

Door handle of room was loose and twitchy, it took me 5 minutes to get it unlocked. Towels were not in bathroom rack but way up high on closet shelf, at first I didn't think there were any. Bathtub plug would not hold the seal so a hot bath was challenging. Bathroom spigot was mismarked cold was hot and hot was cold.

Location was handy. Had fridge and microwave. Check in staff was nice.
