Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There was a nearby rooster that could have had less things to say at 430 AM. Also, you need to be intentional about what you bring with you since it is further away from a nearby town/grocery store/conveniences.
The accommodations were wonderful! A few miles from town, so not a lot of traffic. You're able to hear the hummingbirds before you see them! The views were serene, the host was happy and kind, and ut was a welcome reprieve from everyday life.

Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Only 10 minutes from Silverton and 20 minutes to Silver Falls.

Loved all of it!!! Saw a comment in the guest book about "spidery" but in a canyon setting in the forest a gossamer thread or little web can happen in hours. Didn't see the spiders either. This is part of nature and expected in a house in a forest setting.
Stunning setting outside of town. Breathtaking view, safe location, beautiful star gazing, lovely decor, amenities were more than enough, lovely owners on the property. The whole place feels relaxing, warming and comforting. I always look for unique places with private settings and wonderful views. This place did not disappoint.

The setting was beautiful, serene and comfortable. Just a short drive to Silverton for groceries, restaurants and shopping. The bed was comfortable, kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook in house. Laundry on site was a plus. I was in area for triathlon and had plenty of room outside to spread out and put my bike back together all while enjoying beautiful views.

My only wish is that we could have stayed longer. I would highly recommend this property as a wonderful place to stay and relax. Thank you!
It was amazing! The location is beautiful. Our hosts were super helpful, and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The space was clean, spacious, and fit all of our needs.

It was a little tight getting in and out of the parking.
The location was excellent. The view was amazing. The space was well oriented, well supplied, and a really pleasant experience.

For me, to have a couple of things like bread or bagels and some coffee creamer would have been helpful as I only stayed 2 nights. I had to do business in Keizer and Mt Angel so didn’t have the ability or time to make myself meals. Only suggest that for future short rentals since it is remote and not close to a grocery store or restaurants. Not easy to just run out and pick up a few things.

Nothing! This is a FABULOUS place to relax!
The apartment was immaculate! Tastefully decorated. The hosts live on-site; right there if you need anything, but never “in your party.” They provided both a binder with house instructions, and a few little helpful signs here and there. We mainly used the property for sleeping while we attended an event in the area, but enjoyed it so much we plan to return sometime in the future just to STAY THERE! It’s a WONDERFUL oasis!!!

Can't think of a thing! Everything was well stocked with quality items - they even provide dark roast coffee!!! Love, love, love this place!
OMG - there's probably not enough space here to adequately rave about this place! It is absolutely as gorgeous as the photos! Very well designed, and beautifully decorated and appointed. High ceilings and lots of windows made it very open and airy feeling - we could enjoy the fabulous view from inside as well as outside on the patio. Lots of nice little extra touches, like night lights in the bathroom and dimmer switches on most light fixtures. Mindy, our host, was great to work with. It was an easy drive to the charming town center of Silverton, but it felt like in a world of it's own. We will definitely be back!

The location was beautiful 6 miles out of Silverton and into the foothills of the Cascade mountains. Very large kitchen with supplied utensils and cookware! Excellent large refrigerator freezer for our food. Stellar value at great price. Thank You!
