Breakfast was definitely sad but it’s close enough to town to go to plenty of good restaurants and the lodge is fantastic and very comfortable!

The lodge is located next to a bridge that crosses the lake and is noisy. Not a huge problem, but still there. The hotel could use a restaurant and bar because there is nothing in walking distance.

We really enjoyed our three night stay in a fabulous suite with a view of the lake! The balcony was large and we spent a lot of time there enjoying the view of the lake! The water was warm enough and took several swims from the lodge. We also liked being out of Sandpoint but within 5 minute striking distance. Would stay here again for sure!

There is no breakfast. Their site states "continental", but it's only Costco muffins and biscotti. Also some small apples. The room had a full kitchen minus a stove/oven. We were unable to cook any of our own meals. There's a gas fireplace in the room and we could see the pilot light burning, but perhaps it has a bad thermostat. The gal at the front desk offered to come up and "wiggle" something to try and get it working...we didn't think that was the proper answer to the situation, and we declined the offer. Also, the deadbolt didn't latch. We lifted up on the door a little and got it started, but it needs to be properly installed in order to be used. We paid $500 per night.

We made late reservations and got a very nice, comfy room with a large kitchen. However, there is no oven or stove. The deck was the highlight with great views of The Long Bridge into Sandpoint, and we saw the most beautiful sunsets. The furniture and bed were super comfy. This is a large one bedroom apartment.

Would prefer a little more option for breakfast if possible. Doesn’t have to be a big hot spread as I understand there is a lot of waste with that

Beautiful property. Will be traveling with my dog in the future which they can’t accommodate. I understand why if others in the past didn’t follow the rules ect. Just probably won’t be able to stay here in the future for that reason. Beautiful view. Booking site needs to update no pets and be more clear if you do or don’t get a water view. Not the hotels fault though.

My only complaint was that in a 3 night stay housekeeping never cleaned the room. No clean towels or made bed, trash was overflowing.

The location was great, the view of the lake was amazing. The rooms were spacious & well furnished. The staff was accommodating for some special requests.

The restaurant we enjoyed on prior visits has been closed. It is difficult to have to drive into town over the bridge with traffic to find a place eat.

The hallway to our room smelled really bad. The walls are very thin so could hear when the people above us walked and flushed the toilet. They shouldn’t advertise a breakfast. It was just Costco muffins, green bananas and granola bars. It would’ve been a much nicer experience if we had a view of the lake. The hotel was not at full capacity so not sure why they didn’t have all their guests facing the lake instead of the parking lot.

The day staff were very sweet and friendly. The view from the lobby on the deck was beautiful and had comfortable seating.

The breakfast was a joke. The ac unit was extremely loud so the tv had to be turned way up to hear it. I spent over $500.00 for two nights which was way too much for no breakfast and obnoxiously loud air conditioning.

Bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and the room was clean.

Very outdated, musty carpets, dark and drab… it really could be a. great place with even minor inexpensive improvements
