The staff was very friendly. Room was comfortable for our needs. Beds and pillows were comfortable. We are light sleepers, so the hotel placed us in a room that was away from stairs, elevators, and roadway b/c we asked for a quiet room. However, unfortunately, there were guests close to us that returned to the hotel late at night who made a lot of noise in the hallway.

Construction was going on right above our floor, and between 10 and 11 am a horrifically loud sawing/grinding noise started up over my room every morning that I was there (3 mornings). The furnishings are worn, and the hand towels/washcloths very thin.The pool was an off-putting algae-green and cloudy, although the last couple of days I saw families using it trying to beat the heat. Be aware that construction is currently going on all over the hotel. The thermostat on the wall in the room does not yet work and the existing wall unit struggled to provide cooling/ventilation to the room.. The military is also currently using this hotel as a mustering location for new recruits and a large number of young and nervous adults were wandering the halls.

The hotel was right next to the airport, and had surprisingly good soundproofing for being adjacent to a major freeway interchange. Checkout was efficient. The room does have a loveseat, desk/chair, and a mini-refrigerator and microwave.

I loved the big breakfast with many options to select. Also, our room was very comfortable with no noise.

Loved that the hotel was close to the mall which had almost everything you needed. The room is modern and great value for money. Breakfast included for the price is a great deal.

Hotel bathroom was a bit dirty upon arrival. Hotel main lobby restrooms 2/4 were clean.

Property location was convenient for my travels around the city. Hotel room was clean. Free breakfast.

I did not like the fact that I was near the emergency exit and that door slammed shut all night long!

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is very good. Very close to Walmart, restaurants and shopping 🛍. Quick access to Hiway 281.

Cleanliness along the hallways needs improvement. The elevator is fast but panels are loose. Was scared some kid might pry them open. Needs a lot of touch up —wall lights are old and the laundry room in the 8th floor needs to be cleaned too—very dusty inside. The 8th floor looks like it’s under renovation (wires hanging from the ceiling). Wyndham should invest more on the maintenance of its airport hotels. Affordable should not mean less maintenance. Breakfast is tolerable, could make some improvement. Anyone can walk in and take the elevators so less secure. Should be operated by room key card. Overall, the friendliness of staff made up for it.

Near the airport and North Star mall, Walmart, TJ Maxx for last minute gift shopping, and a USPS that closes at 10pm (!) so you can mail yourself that excess baggage wt before you fly out. There’s a hotel shuttle that takes you anywhere within a 2-mile radius. Updated bathrooms. The morning staff, especially Rose is very helpful. The shuttle drivers are great! It’s military-friendly—they understand our life and requirements

Would have been nice if we had been informed about the remodel ahead of time, or given a discount on the room due to it.

Breakfast was great! Tge staff was very friendly and helpful. The building is in the middle of a remodel so eventually it will be very good as well. Did not know about that until we checked in, that was not so nice.

Not well maintained. The 8th floor hallway looks unfinished. I went there to do my laundry, I can tell the walls were still being repainted and the carpet is still old and I guess being replaced. Hand prints from construction dust were on the wall. Exit sign upside down. Don’t know why they made guests stay there. Carpet is old and trash by the guests were on the hallway. Stayed on the 7th floor, a wall lamp would not stay upright. Curtain had tears. I liked the wood flooring though.

Proximity to airport and shopping. Breakfast offered. Pool and laundry available. I like that I’m able to pay for Washer and dryer through Apple Pay. Comfortable bed.

Room was down the hall from the dining area and back entrance was always held open by rocks. Hallway was hot and unsecured. Microwave did not work very well, error code on display so it was hard to tell what heat setting were. I asked about replacement and was told there are no other extra microwaves in the entire 7 story building, staff then suggested I use microwave in dining area if I needed one. Toilet was coming loose from the floor.

Elevators a little creaky, button panels were showing their age, had to push them hard sometimes to get them to select floor

Convenient to anywhere in SATX, plenty of safe parking Staff and guests were very welcoming of my dog
