United StatesThe front desk lady on the NIGHT SHIFT was rude as all heck. If she doesn't want to work there, she can try a job at Walmart in the stocking department. Like that she can deal with the minimum amount of people. Not right to be at the front desk definitely.
The room was amazing, the bed was comfy, the food wasn't bad at all, and the front desk lady on the MORNING shift was good.

United StatesCheck in clerk was not nice. She wasn't rude but wasn't exactly nice at check in. The room only at 3 towels & we are a family of 5. We requested 2 more towels. The clerk seems irritated when asked (we caught her in the hallway as we were approaching the elevator). She stated she would get them when she returned to the front desk. We didn't hear back from her at all and after waiting for an hour (we needed to get ready for the funeral), we finally tracked down housekeeping in the hallway & asked for more towels. Housekeeping was very polite & helpful.
Hotel was clean & nice. Looked newer. Breakfast was good & fresh. Housekeeping staff & night clerk was very polite and greeted us when we returned to the hotel at 10pm

United StatesNothing, maybe just that the elevator was a little shaky and scary, but it wasn’t a big deal.
This place saved my life when I was on the road and suddenly felt sick and had to stop for the night. It was very clean, comfortable, quiet, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was really nice! They have complimentary water in the lobby 24/7. I recommend it to anyone needing to stop in Luling for a night or two.

United StatesRoom and hallway had a strong unpleasant odor. Smelled like either mold, wet dogs, body odor or skunk marijuana not sure which. The smell never dissipated in the room except when we turned on the HVAC unit. The room needed ventilation, a fan, a window or something. It was very humid because of it. We changed rooms but unfortunately both rooms smelled the same. Clearly a systemic issue. Some aesthetic issues like bleach stains on rugs in the lobby and chipped paint around the hotel.
Good location, good and hearty free breakfast, clean, not crowded. Free and plentiful parking. Comfortable bed and room. I rested well. Loved that there were two televisions.
