Old hotel with new rooms. So I suppose they will renew the rest of the hotel soon. So far prices are low and the room and bathroom are very nice.

The hotel was undergoing renovation. The door handle to my room was "tricky"/didn't feel secure. The elevator was malfunctioning. I'm writing this review because Im tired of being harassed by Booking.com.

The room was fine, but nothing noteworthy. The girl at the front desk.was friendly.

When we originally booked on the website, the room necessities stated there would be a fridge and microwave in the room. Upon check in the lady told us that our room didn’t come with those items and that it is an additional $5 each night to have a room with those necessities in the room. She stated that the 3rd party which is this website hasn’t changed the description for these items not to be listed and they tell you at check in when it’s too late to make other arrangements elsewhere. Not to mention this past weekend everything was booked up due to state track meet. The elevator was old and very slow. The rooms have been updated somewhat but the hallways still have the old dated carpet that has the funny smell. If you are looking for fridge and microwave, make sure to call and ask before reserving.

The property was close proximity to the stadium where we needed to be.

The property is extremely tired and shows its age. It needs a facelift. And the coffee is not good.

The inside is extremely tired. The front elevator wasn’t working when I arrived in later in my stay the back elevator was being worked on significantly. I’m OK with stairs but not everyone is. The paint was a need of upgrade and the shingles missing of the roof.

It set a ways from a busy road and was very quiet. It was surrounded by trees and had a nice courtyard for coffee in the morning. The outside was very pleasant

We tried to check in 2 hours early and the gal at front desk said she would have to charge us $30 extra. Asked for a first floor room and said that would Aldi cost extra. We denied both and checked in later . The hotel did not have many guests ! The other staff was nice. The heater on the room was difficult to control , we were there 3 days and I asked for clean towels which the did BUT the did not remove the dirty towels f Rom the room. Breakfast was good but the plastic forks and knives are so flimsy you couldn’t use them to eat the nice waffles

Clearly in the middle of renovations. Door to the outside on 1st floor was broken. Thankfully being on a ln upper floor I felt a little safer. Safety is paramount. Won't stay here again until renovations are complete.

Staff was very friendly. Room is in the process of being modernized. New fixtures in bathroom. TV was largest I have ever seen in a hotel room.

The carpet in the room was very gross, not clean. And although they were under construction, I can’t recall seeing any signage that stated that info. Also the back door to the rooms, farthest from the front desk, did not lock and could be accessed by anyone. Even non-guests.

The elevator floor was absolutely filthy the lock on the bathroom door in both rooms was broken. There wasn’t a safe to store valuables. The doors for the rooms barely fit the frames you could see into the room next to mine. My room door jiggled badly like it’s been kicked open before! Toilet was hard to flush the handle was hit and miss but it had to be flushed 3-4 times to get anything down!

I did not like that they gave us a room that already had someone in it. We could have been shot! Also the new room Key was only for 1 day when we paid for 2. Had to go to the front desk to get it fixed. majorly inconvenienced

Did not like the smell on the room. It smell like wet. Even though the staff did provide a spray to better the smell he did request the spray to be brought back to front desk for it belong to the owner/manager. Something else could of been done to alleviate the strong bad smell of the room. Other than that everything else was great.
