They don't allow fish in the rooms. I understand this can be an issue if people are not careful. They have free ice, but I feel they should make provisions to freeze customer fish since Montauk is the self proclaimed "Fishing Capital". If you are flying out you can't take a cooler full of ice on a commercial airliner.

It was just a little tricky to have to carry my luggage up to the second floor via stairs. But not a big deal. It would've been nice if they had a little gift shop or convenience store on site since the apartments come with a kitchen. I couldn't find any food after 9pm so I was starving all the time. I think it would be a great idea if the hotel offered some food that can be purchased :)

I enjoyed having a living room and a kitchen. I wish I had more time to enjoy the stay, though. I was too busy attending a conference, so I didn't get to be in my room much.

The beds and pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable. There also was no cooking sheet pans or spatula to use in the full kitchen 2 bedroom apartment we had, so we had to buy ones. It was also very hot due to only 1 AC unit in the living room

The only thing (and it’s more us than them) we didn’t like was the one steep staircase from the ground to the second level. We don’t expect an elevator in such a quaint place, but maybe a ramp system?

There’s not much to criticize

It had quite a few relaxation locations: the pool, a meditation room (open to cross-breezes but it can get hot inside on hot sunny days); another mostly-shaded relaxation area with cocktail tables so one could eat or drink.

The sewer next to the parking area where I walked my dog, seemed to be overflowing. Not sure with what. Trying to make work calls from the swimming pool and there was a very loud leaf blower that was keeping me from hearing, had to inside to hear. Pool could’ve been cleaner. One group of guests arrived and started cleaning it themselves. Abandoned restaurant next door kind of sad looking. Shower needs a bench to put items, had to sit them on the toilet. Pillows are not comfortable.

Great location, Elle was very nice and helpful. Dog friendly. Safe area, easy to park and get in and out. AC worked well, housekeeping was good. Cute gazebo and pool area.

A few things could be improved: the exterior of the hotel isn’t particularly inviting, and while the room itself was lovely, the $600 nightly rate felt high — though we didn’t compare local prices. A couple of lights in the suite weren’t working, which was a bit inconvenient, and the $150 pet fee seemed quite steep.

The two-bedroom suite was spacious and beautifully decorated. Both bedrooms were very comfortable, with cozy beds and thoughtful touches throughout. The common area was large and inviting — perfect for relaxing after a day out. Although we didn’t have time to try the pool, it looked clean, well-maintained, and very appealing. The hotel is also ideally located, with several excellent restaurants just steps away. One is open all day, while the others are only open for dinner, but all are absolutely worth a visit — and some are family-friendly, which was a great plus for us. The staff were also genuinely nice and very helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Hotel in back looked a little run down compared to front. Pillows were hard as a rock. Pre booked for 2 queen beds, 3 people. Another friend decided to join and we were charged for being honest and notifying you in advance an extra $25 even though we already paid for a room that could accomodate 4 people

Pool was clean, Buddah temple was a nice touch. Good coffee, friendly cleaning staff.

No plugs accessible to the bed for phones, not really set up for modern technology needs. I would have preferred a microwave and a coffee maker in the room, but it's not a deal breaker. We couldn't get the tv to work but didn't call down, so that might have been fixable.

Nice room in a quiet little corner of Montauk. The room was big and comfy. The pool area was beautiful. Close, walking distance to restaurants and the marina. Cute balcony on the back.
