The jacuzzi tub didn’t work properly. At check out I was given a discount for the jacuzzi not working. The bathroom was very humid and even when the fan was on and unable ti leave the door open, it was by the front door and not able To open when coming in too the hotel.

The location and the room were wonderful . Bottom floor right bye the riverwalk.

I didn't realize it was a major street for all the delivery trucks. Plus wallpaper peeling and bathroom shower had some long black hair, not us.

The staff arranged three of our four rooms next to each other and the 4th one was down the hall. We loved the free salmon chowder at 5pm and the kids loved the cookies at 4pm.

The location and staff member that checked us in was incredible!! We were there in memory of my late husband who died from cancer two weeks ago and the staff member was so kind and empathized with us because of his similar situation. He was so kind and helpful! We LOVE the Kathryn and will continue to make this hotel our yearly tradition.

The staff was excellent and made us feel well cared for! We used the breakfast room for playing cards in the evening, which was perfect. We loved the short walk to the beach. And our room looking over the river was very nice and clean. We also used the hot tub. Short walk to bars and restaurants as well as the beach. It was a lovely stay and we hope to return someday.

It was great to have parking available. However, its a small parking lot, with not a lot of extra parking. There were a few times that due to people being double parked, there was NO parking, and we had to seek a spot on the street. While it's not the hotel's fault that people are horrible drivers, having a bit of extra space would be a good option. Or, if the hotel can contact the owners of the drivers who are double parked, asking them to fix their vehicles to make space for others, that would also be an option.

Fantastic amenities and great value. We loved the hotel and sauna and pool. The jetted tub in our room was my favorite.

There was scaffolding for outside the 3 floors next to my room that wasn’t much to look at when I was on my balcony. However since the room next to mine was empty, it was extra peaceful.

I really liked that there were complimentary cookies in the afternoon, flavored waters and most of all smoked salmon chowder daily at 5PM. The pool, hot tub and sauna were open 24/7 along with adult access hours. In my room I liked my balcony over the river, the comfortable big king bed, the large refrigerator, and real glasses for coffee and cold drinks instead of plastic and styrofoam. Always nice to have a full hot breakfast served daily. Walking distance to promenade and beach.

The location of this hotel couldn't be more perfect. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. As an added bonus, they serve delicious complimentary Salmon Chowder in the afternoon and a nice breakfast in the morning.

I think the cook needed more help. The food ran out fast. Also the towels were out in the pool area.

The only thing I would have to say is the breakfast should be open until at least 10:00am, it currently closes at 9:30. When we went for breakfast on Sat, the attendant did not like the fact that we came down at 9:25 not knowing it closed at 9:30, she started to close the door, I asked if I could just grab a muffin. She was not very happy about that, mind you there was a ton of food left over. I got a muffin and a cup of coffee quickly as not to make a big issue for her as she was already irritated that I asked for a muffin, I would have liked any opportunity to grab some breakfast. As I was walking out I noticed why she was in such a hurry and irritated, she had a big plate of food that she had just sat down to eat! I then noticed employees opening the door and shuffling in and closing the door behind then and then coming out with a big plate of food and sitting down to eat it in the breakfast area, after the 9:30 closing time So they could have food but I, as a guest could not? Is the food for guests or employees?

The people at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful.

Bed were too firm, pool was a little cold(still enjoyed it) and having a 3yr, it was a safety hazard that our balcony door didn't lock(room 311)

Staff was very friendly, loved the hot tub, having the robes to use going down to the pool was fantastic, and just all around a very pleasant stay.
