That this box isn’t big enough to write more than I did about how much we enjoyed our stay. The prism was in the bathroom when we got there. A perfect start to a wonderful stay.

It was so much better than a hotel. Even the teenagers were pleasantly surprised when we walked in. It was so homey. Everything was perfect. They had everything we needed to cook.

Well appointed. Anything you possibly could need was provided. Kitchen had everything to prepare a from scratch meal and appliances were new. Bathrooms were stocked with supplies and everything was spotless clean. Bed was comfortable and area was quiet. Host was responsive, but since everything was perfect nothing was needed. Close to UTMB the Strand and Beach.

Wonderful cottage in the historic district, done up in perfect vintage style. Beautiful old houses all around and great restaurants within easy walking distance. Just a few minutes' drive to the Strand entertainment district. Kari has thought of everything you might need, from two Roku TVs and a fully-equipped kitchen with an exceptional supply of dishes, spices and utensils, to a sitting porch with barbecue grill, to a full array of towels and all toiletries. We came for our anniversary, and my wife loved it so much, she hated to leave. Kari is a great host and even went out of her way to search the house and find a pair of earrings my wife left behind and mail them to us. We hope she keeps this home available forever because we want to make it our go-to spot every time we return to Galveston.

Super cool on the inside and felt a lot bigger than the pictures, we had four stay and it was VERY comfy! Clean and beautiful interior and it was so relaxing sitting on the porch outside as well, honestly I would rent the house to just relax and hang out there the entire time ❤️

We’ve traveled to Galveston for the past 4 years and Kari’s place was by far the best vacation rental we have stayed in! The cottage was spacious (even for 4 people: king bed, daybed & trundle), well equipped (fully stocked kitchen, lots of extra pillows, blankets and towels), quiet (loved hearing the frogs on the screened in porch w/ fan), comfortable (felt like a home and not just a blank-slate rental unit), and walkable to everything in the historic Strand district. Our host was gracious, friendly, and communicative before and during our stay. We will be staying here again and cannot recommend this place highly enough for its location, charm, and value! Thanks, Kari, for an amazing Labor Day weekend getaway!

It was the perfect location for what we wanted. The kids wanted the beach as well as myself wanting the beach, but there was also activities for them to do close by just a short drive. We felt safe the whole time we was there very good host and we will be back.
