Jekyll Island Club Resort is not only an opportunity to travel back to a simpler time, but it is peaceful and relaxing, as a vacation should be. We love the courtyard music and general ambiance of the Jekyll Island Club Resort and the shuttle to the Beach Club.

    Nothing. Everything is exceptional!

$400.00 + I had to walk a half mile with my bags. I had to sit sideways on the toilet because of the wall angle. The carpet was dirty. I just expected more.

The outside music at the wharf was the best! The pool was wonderful but HOT! Love the smores at the pool too. Glad the coffee shop down the walkway had matcha.

Wish the coffee shop had matcha.

The location was excellent. Staff was friendly.

I booked 2 rooms. When I checked in, I was given the door key pamplet, but did not have the key cards in it after walking up the 3 flights of stairs, had to go back down to front desk. Same thing happened to with my second room, after my daughter made it to her room, she did not have her key cards, and had to go all the way back to front desk for the door key card. Very exhausting! Was supposed to get a cot for each room, did not have any available the first night.

It was in the historic district. Lots of beautiful cottages around the property to look at from the outside. If you took a trolley tour at the mosaic, you can walk inside one of the homes. The Mosaic Museum and The Georgia Sea Turtle Conservation are both within walking distance. It was nicely decorated and had activities on site. There were a few restaurants within walking distance that were owned by the hotel. You can take the hotel shuttle to the Ocean Club Resort for Beach access. Beds were comfortable and most of the staff were helpful. The pool was nice as well. The Pantry had good breakfast burritos. The ice cream on site was nice.

The food and drinks at all the businesses owned by the resort are pricey for the quality of food and drinks available. If you are going to eat on site, The Pantry is the most reasonable with pretty good food. The Wharf was not good at all. The Sand bar was $7.50 for a can of beer. The Grand Dining Room was decent but it was $34.00 per person and juice was $4.00 extra.

The room was lovely, the staff was excellent and the property was just beautiful

Our room,2207, was very noisy. The AC units(?) outside our windows came on and off throughout the night and we were unable to sleep through the nights.

The Jekyll Island Club has a plethora of activities for all ages. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with walking/biking paths that take you underneath the canopies of the live oaks. There are plenty of places to relax and feel like you’re the only one there. You can also go to the beach club, one of their sister properties, taking the shuttle and enjoy the Atlantic Ocean without having to bring a chair or a cooler. Everything is there for you!!!

The property was beautiful and has a lot of history.

I didn’t like that everything closed at 21:00.

Beautiful setting and historical hotel. The service was excellent too. Loved the historic tour.

The check in staff did not inform us at all about the property and any amenities or things to do.
