United StatesThe hotel felt more like a two-star motel trying its best to pass as a beachfront resort. The room was clean, and the view from the balcony was nice as stated before, but the overall experience didn’t match the price. It’s not a luxurious stay by any means. Honestly, it felt like one of those impulsive bookings you make midweek after a long day, hoping for an escape, only to arrive and realize you just needed a nap and a refund.
The only thing I genuinely liked about the property was the little ocean view from the balcony; it was decent and added a nice touch to an otherwise average stay. Don’t get me wrong, the island itself is beautiful and very peaceful. It wasn’t crowded, which I appreciated. But as far as the hotel goes, the balcony view was really the only standout feature for me.

United StatesNoisy neighbors...until 4:00 AM!! Kept waking up my wife. Sounded as though their kids were running around and moving furniture all evening. And those neighbors smoked. Evidently a non smoling room downstairs doesn't apply to guests upstairs. Not able to sit out on the terrace because of my wife being allergic to the cigarette smoke. To sit outside and avoid the smoke, we had to sit away from the room. Our neighbors next door were also aware of the late night noise even though they were not directly under the noise makers. Yes, we did mention the situation to the front desk; no results.

United StatesBreakfast was most definitely not worth $20.00 a person. We have stayed at other locations and hotels and the free continental breakfast was no different than this breakfast. I did not even eat but was charged bc I had a kid voucher. I have two small children and they definitely didn’t eat there share to even come close to the 20 dollars I had to spend for a “drink” for them to eat free.
Location was perfect. Hotel was kid friendly and super convenient for what we came for. We have stayed here three times and will continue to stay!

South AfricaAccess to beach is great, but the downside is that there are no taps/showers as you come of the beach to wash off the beach sand, unless you go to the centre of the property. The coffee bar is only open from 6-10am, so coffee and the view is not available for the rest of the day. The coffee at the restaurant which is the alternative to the coffee bar is just not as nice and options are limited, especially in the evening. The 'sun' pods that are placed around the property gets direct sun during the day, and it would be great if umbrellas can be setup to provide some shade as you get sun most of the day when using them. We didn't like the location of the room right behind the restaurant on the top floor, it's noisy and blocks the direct sea view. And even though I requested a ground floor unit, it wasn't 'available' to us, even when I asked if we could move, when we checked in. Many of the ground floor units were unoccupied for the time we stayed and disappointing. The room was great, but the bathrooms needs an upgrade and a walk in shower or at least a hand held shower head would be easier to manage especially if you need to rinse the bath etc. The taps and bath plug are old and difficult to operate. The TV is small and old and didn't' work until we had to get maintenance to reset it. The Keurig coffee pod machine did not work at all. I was also really not impressed that extra charges were charged on the card on file, without consent or informing us at the time of check in. Payments are more than the invoice received when checking out and it's up to me to now follow up and resolve it. There is a small convenience store on site, but it's expensive, and when I asked the manager on site if there were supermarket to buy water, on the island he said no, only the QT Gas station. This was in fact not the truth, there are a supermarket on the island.
The location of the resort are fantastic, right on the beach and in 180 degrees view of the ocean. It's a pet friendly resort and the beach closest to the resort are pet friendly too. The resort's room are all front facing although some units view of the ocean are partial. The resort is neat and clean. It has a pool and hot tub and various spaces to relax. The free coffees for the three days stay was great, the lady that are in charge of the coffee bar, Linda was super friendly and pleasant and we enjoyed talking to her in the mornings. The resort also gave us 2 hours free bicycle use, which really adds value. The property has a great walking path all around and direct access to the island walking path. It was nice and quiet and we enjoyed the 'sun pods' all around the property. There are firepits that are lit at night, which is also a great addition. The double queen room is a great size and had a nice balcony. The bed was comfortable. Overall the staff was helpful but not over friendly and don't inform you of extra charges they are taking on the account unless you ask about it.

United StatesMy husband is in a wheelchair, can walk short distances. No use of left arm. Were not able to reserve an ADA room so got a room with king size bed. It was very tall so extremely hard for me to help him into . The bathroom and shower had no grab bars. My fault for not reserving a different room earlier but grab bars in a shower would be a really good safety addition for all rooms.

United StatesNot handicapped accessible. There was work carts parked in several handicapped spots when told staff they would move them be back the next day. At one point front desk said they couldn’t be moved due to cart break down. As well there was no way access that was accessible to beach stairs were very steep and hard to climb. I had to go to public beach access to be able to use the ramp.

I didn't expect the doors to open outside like motel doors, but the view was beautiful. Beach access was close on both sides of the linear layout, and they offered some nice complementary extras like bicycle rental.

United StatesThe room was just okay, dated, old school toilet. The door to the room had almost no weather stripping on bottom (sunlight shining through) and it was COLD at night, so I had duck tape and used it to seal bottom of door (I’ve run into that issue before). The second day I tried calling the front desk but phone wasn’t working. Come to find out, someone had us assigned to a different room for the remaining stay, no one knew why, they corrected that issue. The Direct TV had terrible reception, kept freezing for minutes at a time. I reset receiver and it worked for a while then went back to freezing up.
Location, of course, nice outside with the fire pits, close to beach, nice pool and eatery, a newer washer and dryer (although in-season people must have to fight over them, the hotel has a lot of rooms:)

United StatesFirst off they put us at the far end of the building away from all the services even though the hotel was not full. The bathroom sink was clogged and it seemed as if it had been worked on before and not fixed. The hot water in the room was anything but hot, warm at best. The Walls are very then as we could hear everything going on around us including children running. I would not stay there again.
