Upon entering the room, the room temperature was VERY Hot. The temp on the unit was setting on 80* and it felt opening a hot oven door. It took some hours for the room to cool down using the fan setting, and the bathroom exhaust fan.

Building is beginning to fail. Places on wall are chipping away (especially in bathroom), odd sounds from appliances, not much sound protection from other rooms.

Staff was excellent, breakfast was okay.

No one answered the phone when I tried to each for supplies. Room was very small. Coffee and condiments were for 1 person and pkg was open. Not sound proof rooms.

I feel like the price was high for the quality of the room. The sofa bed was worse than a typical sofa bed as the mattress was beyond worn out. The continental breakfast was very minimal, no fresh food. Even the waffles were premade in zip top bags. Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else.

The location is about the only positive. Close to food.

I was pulling a trailer and had difficulty finding a parking area. The night clerk had some difficulty checking me in. It is an older hotel that has been updated. Breakfast isn't much but was adequate. Deadbolt lock on the door wouldn't latch.

The old, musty smell inside. Dehumidifiers scattered around, and new flooring in the reception acclimatizing to the building. I assume they had a flood recently and are going to re-carpet. Got there in the ‘early hours’, and the receptionist gave us keys, and sent us to….. the wrong room. No biggie, came back down and he apologized and sent us to the right room. The rooms, like the hotel in general, are in need of refreshing. Not desperately so, but worn. One reason I booked was for free breakfast. The bad news is this was without doubt THE WORST free breakfast I’ve ever encountered. Seriously, looks like they went to the local gas station and bought the stale plastic wrapped fare there, and so-so drinks at best. Some cereal boxes, and a couple of ‘things’ you could heat up in a microwave. We went and found breakfast elsewhere. The cleaning staff had their kids there, hanging around, kind of loud. One person related brought a dog in and the dog started howling. No real biggie, as I love dogs and don’t mind as we were walking out. Just….. weird, in a hotel with signs everywhere saying NO PETS! Needless to say, we won’t return. A real disappointed.

Location is very handy, just off a main highway. Price is decent, if there’s such a thing nowadays. Beds were comfortable. AC worked well.

The guy at the front desk seemed to be new and took a while with check in. He was very polite, but quiet and made us nervous, thinking he didn't see our reservation bc it took him so long to check us in. The room didn't seem to have been cleaned very well. There was trash and a dirty sock by the headboard, in the corner. The cushion on the window seat was stained and looked questionable. Toilet paper roll was nearly empty. Everything else was fine.

I have stayed at this location a number of times and sadly it keeps going down hill . The main complaint is that I paid extra for breakfast and was hugely disappointed . I believe this location is under new management and they have done everything possible to make breakfast terrible . This location used to have a nice hot breakfast with lots of choice but now there is just toast and cereal. Even the waffle Iron has been removed . My advice to anyone staying here don't pay extra for breakfast you will be hugely disappointed . There is not even fresh coffee it comes out of a machine and we all know how good that is . Also this is a no pet location so if you are travelling with a small dog forget it . This used to be a good place to stay but you may want to drive to Ellijay for more options . This place is just OK at best

This property is under new management and one big thing that has changed is the breakfast . The previous owners supplied a nice hot breakfast and it was decent for the money . This has all changed . There is nothing hot on the breakfast bar any longer and even the waffle iron has been removed . Basically there is toast and cereal. I paid extra with our room for the breakfast and was very disappointed. My advice to anyone staying at this location is to save your money and take the room without the breakfast . Also there is no fresh coffee . It comes out of a machine and and like all machine coffee is it just OK . In addition this is a no pet location . Unlike other Microtel locations that allow pets this location is not an option if you have a small dog ETC .

WE have stayed at this location a number of times in the past . The staff was friendly and the property was clean and the bed was decent other than the pillows . They were terrible bring your own .

We left 3:30 am so we don’t know how good breakfast

It's unfortunate that the carpeting is very worn and feels dirty to the touch, as the room was otherwise fine for one night.

It's the nearest economy accommodation to the Piedmont Hospital where we needed to go due to an accident. Reception is 24 hours. The room rates include breakfast.
