Beautiful space, great location, quiet, but walking distance from Cliff Walk, mansions, restaurants. The lodge has some great common space, including sitting rooms and a porch with comfortable chairs, a water fountain, and soft lights. There are coffee, sweet treats, juices, and snacks available 24 hours a day, and the breakfasts are amazing and a filling way to start a day of exploring Newport.

The Ivy Lodge was perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood. I especially loved the porch, which was a peaceful spot for my morning coffee. The breakfasts were exceptional.

It was about a 15 minute walk to get to the town but that really wasn’t bad to be honest.

The ambiance was the perfect setting for a get ready to a Christmas ball at the Breaker's. It was so festive, Christmas music playing on the tv while the fire place warmed the room. Morning breakfast was served with a smile. We enjoyed waffles with fruit, bacon of course and coffee.

This a wonderful place to stay. Jacqui and her son Wes were so friendly and welcoming. My mom and I are thinking about taking a trip there again next year. The breakfast was fabulous as well.

Ivy Lodge is perfectly located, close to everything, but in a quiet neighborhood location. Beautiful grounds and just lovely inside. Everything is well appointed - complimentary drinks and snacks 24/7, wonderful living room. The room was large and quite comfortable. Staff very attentive. We really enjoyed our stay

The gentleman that was working breakfast was definitely a little perturbed that we came down at 9:30. (Ends at 10:00) They had everything put away and forgot about us. It was the only day that decided to sleep in a little. That was the only bad part of the whole trip. He was friendly the following morning. The woman made up for it. Super nice

The location was perfect for our plans. It was halfway between the busy Thames street and the historic mansions. We walked 10 mins to the Breakers and the cliff walk. We also walked the opposite way one day and were at Thames street in 15 mins. It is also only 5 minutes to the Bellevue area that has some local shops and the tennis hall of fame. The breakfasts were very good. A nice bonus was snacks, juices and baked goods available all day self serve.

The breakfast was delicious. The atmosphere in the house allows you to travel back in time. The hosts are very friendly. Sipping your coffee at the patio might be the new definition for peaceful.
