I wish the room windows were cleaned, as the room had a great view of the flags and the Christ Church across the street, but I couldn't take a good photo because the windows have dust.

I like everything about this Inn. It's our 2nd time staying here within 2 months.

Location is downtown so not a walkable neighborhood really. Some areas of the property needed a little paint due to wear and tear.

Wonderful people! Great restaurant and jazz club. Very comfortable room. Inside this facility, it was an oasis.

We walked to the Genesee Brewery and came across some undesirable people ! However it is an easy walk!

The Inn on Broadway is beautiful! This is an older historic building. The building inside and out is very well maintained. The reception is very welcoming! The rooms are very comfortable and appointed!

The only thing I dislike is the breakfast - literally just coffee and pastries (pretty much all gone by 9 am). I will recommend the staffs don’t tell guests about the breakfast because of non-existence

Amazing location, very stylish decors throughout the hotel, really love the aesthetics embodied culture and history, what a pleasant surprise to find a jazz bar in the basement!

First arrival I was a tad bit disappointed by the gentleman at the front desk. He seemed lovely but we exchanged very little information at check-in than what I was hoping for. It was my first time in Rochester so I hoped perhaps he would explain to me any other amenities the Inn has to offer, or anything about the two on-site restaurants, or what the breakfast entailed and the hours it ran, OR even maybe some suggestions for nearby attractions, best restaurants and bars, entertainment options we shouldn’t miss, etc.. I did receive some of that information but it was only after he had given us the key and I asked a couple questions. I even had to stop again and ask where the elevator was… This all may have lead up to why we chose to not dine at the onside restaurants - I kinda just felt like “here’s your key, lady! Now scram!” lol anyway it wasn’t the greatest feeling. Just a couple minor flaws we noticed about the room - although beautiful! Let’s not ever forget that… the pocket door to the bathroom was broken. It came off the rails right as you close it shut so you’re never able to get full privacy while in the bathroom. Can I just tell you I SCREAMED with joy the second I saw there was a heat lamp built into the ceiling?! I’m the person that gets so frigid after showers that I’ve always yearned for a heat lamp! And now, I have one for the next 3 nights! Eh…. She was broken 😂 never gave any effort to throw some heat my way. Huge pointy-nip bummer. The closet light was not working. It’s big so it would have been nice to see my dresses all hung up. One last silly thing - there was a lovely essential oils diffuser on the nightstand but… after looking around….. there were no essential oils! Like why did they not disclose to me in big bold print right after I booked that “please be sure you pack your finest, most favorite essential oils! We will be providing the diffuser, however, when it comes to the rest… you’re on your own!” Oh, and the bed is WICKED firm. Ouchie

It was very apparent that we were given an upgrade to the standard room we paid for! I believe the Inn was relatively vacant this particular weekend so it was an incredibly generous thing for them to do (without me even having to request it.) The room was beautiful! Very spacious, boasting a working fireplace and jetted bathtub. The addition of the little kitchen area was lovely too! Having the larger fridge, microwave, and cabinets housing a few dishes we could borrow were extremely appreciated. The location is definitely great - right in the downtown area so easy to walk to bars, restaurants.. I did have trouble finding some shops, though. To conclude - I wanted to mention that Saturday evening close to 9:30 pm, the not-hungry girl inside of me decided she desperately wanted some French onion soup and it just so happened that the on-site restaurant made this exact dish and was about 30 mins away from being closed down for the night! My hubby of 13 years (I adore him so much) took it upon himself to run down and ask the bartender if he’ll still be able to put in the order? They graciously accepted and even included a silver soup spoon, a cloth napkin, and a beautiful little truffle hidden as a surprise in its tiny little box! lol. I thought that was adorable. Special thanks to all the staff!
