We’ve stayed the Inn at Truckee before and love the feel of the place. It’s near 2 strip malls where you can find a diner (Indian food!), a drugstore, a grocery store, a laundromat, a sports bar, etc. And the room, tho dated is super clean and comfortable. Convenient to downtown Truckee but away from highway 80 enough to be quiet. Hotel is majorly friendly to people and pets alike!

The shampoo etc in the shower is way too high. Plus needed refilling. Bathroom needs safety bars for getting in and out of the shower.

The bathroom was small and the rugs in the room were old (but clean). We also had a hard time operating the shades of the window.

Nothing to be done about it, but the freeway is close, and the traffic noise is fairly constant and apparent, particularly on the back side of the building.

Have stayed here several times now, and since the last time I was here two years ago they have remedied the cleaning fluid issue and are no longer using the industrial version of Pine-Sol many hotels and restaurants use, which was overpowering and unpleasant on my last stay. Has a bathtub 👍, and there's free coffee and danishes in the morning.

Outside property line needs some cleaning up, make the rest of the place look bad.

Nice little motel, not fancy and dated but it does the job. Ice machine, snack and drink vending machines in a little room plus coffee machine in breakfast nook. Limited breakfast in am, all bagged/heat items, cereal, juice, yogurt, hard egg, and coffee machine. I felt safe but I travel with a dog. Clean room with fridge and micro which is nice. Close to many amenities and I-80. The prices are high on certain weekends so watch that.

I had a non smoking room but smoke from either other rooms or outside filtered in and it was very smoke smelling. I was already in bed so didn't get up. The bathroom sink also was almost plugged. It did drain but very slowly. I told the morning person these things Hopefully she told a someone.

The room was clean and the breakfast selection very good. The evening check in person was great. Location was good

I was already awake but just catching up on social media and the housecleaning personnel were already cleaning the room across from me. It would have woken me up if I wasn’t at 6:45. That was just too early for that kind of noise. But, like I said, I was already awake.

I got in at 9:45 and the desk clerk was very friendly and expecting me. I locked myself out of my room just before she was leaving and we both laughed about it. My room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I actually slept without waking up half way like at home. I woke without any pain so that means the bed is a very good one. Breakfast was complimentary and offered enough options. I would absolutely stay here again.

Most places allow you to check in at 3:00 p.m., hear the check-in is 4:00 p.m. earliest, but it's a small place and they probably need that extra time to get the rooms ready.

A cute little laid-back place in a great location. Within walking distance was a shopping area featuring CVS, grocery stores, restaurants, Starbucks, ski and bike shops. They have a complimentary breakfast from 6:30 am,no kitchen but a selection of microwavable breakfast sandwiches, pastries, coffee, juice, yogurt.

no elevator. stayed on 3rd floor. no handles on the stairway, doubted 'bout the aircondition system. 'been sneezing whole night. wonder when was the last time they changed the filter. a better table could have been provided.
