The rooms for people with (young) children are above and the rooms for couples like us are downstairs, so the noise early mornings when you still want to sleep is not nice. Maybe you can change this, making bedrooms for couples above with silence. And bedrooms downstairs for young families they like to sit next to the swimming pool.

The Office is really rundown. The staff checked us in with animals sitting on their lap. The bathroom tile/grout and showers need a serious deep cleaning, but otherwise the rooms were very clean.

The beds are really comfortable. The front deck is amazing! The two bedroom is really cute. Upstairs rooms are much nicer than downstairs rooms which is darker and stuffy.

The little step outside my room. I came home after a long day and fell in front of my room on the little curb step thats should be a ramp for elderly and handicapped. I did not have to go to hospital but definitely slowed me down with my whole leg swollen and bruised that will take days to heal.

Being by the ocean, the suite was perfect except there were no blankets for our hide a bed.

Pros: Enjoyed the view/location, swiftness of checking in with very nice staff. Clean rooms, heated pool, seating area to watch the cliffs, close shops/eatery, crib/playpen accomodation, gated entrance on the top and bottom[stairs-need to use hotel key to gain access] Cons: not very many.. A little outdated except for the fridge Limited parking (however you are given something to put in dash and we were able to find some parking on the side of the hotel) Construction next door

I did not care for the live music Friday and Saturday late afternoons. The musician was good but I was there to hear waves, birds, maybe some breezes in the trees. I realize this is a matter of taste, but maybe if he had started after sunset, was more acoustic, less loud. The construction going on, on the lower terrace was a surprise, only slightly disruptive in the end but a bit interesting at the same time. I would like to see the place after the construction is finished. I found the rates high but I am willing to consider too that my expectations may need some managing.

The location was great, walking distance to Ocean Beach (without the busy-ness of being right in Ocean Beach) and in the other direction, great views from Sunset Cliffs. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool area was well maintained, as was the surrounding area. The late November/early December weather cooperated very nicely, very pleasant temperatures. There were pretty good waves and surfer-watching opportunities and at least one had dolphins/porpoises (not sure which) diving and fishing away.

They were doing construction on the retaining wall, which was needed but it did take away a bit from the view. And they did phone us ahead of time to let us know which was kind!

We had stayed here several years ago and wanted to stay in the same place. We remembered how cute the courtyard was and the view of the ocean was great.

I stayed during a period of construction on the property, but I was informed about it in advance, which I appreciated. One downside is that there aren’t many restaurants nearby, so dining options are a bit limited.

Wish there was more storage in the bathroom. We wish the string lights outdoors were working.

Location was excellent. Our room didn't have a view, but we enjoyed sitting in the central area chairs for ocean views/breezes. We enjoyed walking to the tidal pools near Ocean Beach, and to the small sandy beach at the end of Bermuda Avenue.

No one available to help take our luggage upstairs or downstairs. The music and singing in the evening on Friday and Saturday I didn’t like. It would have been better for just some soothing guitar music one evening.

Location to Fort Rosecrans, the beds were comfortable and rooms quiet, the garden was beautiful. We slept well.
