Nick was very hospitable and engaging. Listening to the frogs and watching the fireflies off the back patio at night was a treasure. Great antique handwritten journals. Plenty of snacks and drinks. Laundry. Nick makes outstanding blueberry pancakes and a great breakfast. It’s “the country”, y’all… and this place has been around for a very long time. We were very comfortable there.

We enjoyed the beautiful relaxing setting of the cottage on a lake. The amenities were clean and comfortable. We appreciated the family history of the property. The cottage was well stocked and the clawfooted bubble bath with heated towels was so relaxing. We totally enjoyed an amazing breakfast made by our host. What a delicious treat!

There wasn't much to dislike. However, some squirrels on the roof kept me up one night. But it wasn't something a sound machine or fan couldn't fix!

Between the location, the homemade breakfast, and the cozy atmosphere it was a great little getaway spot to rest and relax!

Owner Nick was a fabulous host. Went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was made to order & excellent. Room had everything you could hope for. Rich history on the property and American novelist Dawn Powell stayed here in the 1920's and wrote of it in her letters. Loved that our "room" was really a small apartment with bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen, and outdoor deck overlooking the pond.

Nick was an excellent host and breakfast was outstanding and always on time! Best blueberry pancakes and the eggs, bacon, sausage and home fries cooked to perfection every time. The cottage is charming and the grounds picturesque, all of the comforts of home!! Until next time!

The cottage was lovely inside and out. The grounds are ideal for hikes around the pond, quiet and serene. Nick served up a delicious homemade breakfast each morning served in our own private dining room overlooking the grounds. The bad news was it rained for 3 days. The good news was it rained for 3 days, and it was perfect! Thank you, Nick & Connie!

The cottage had all the amenities of home. Nick was a wonderful host and cook. The breakfast was delicious and the fridge was stocked with soda, water and chocolates. We were there celebrating our 43rd Wedding Anniversary and was pleasantly surprised to find a small bottle of champagne along with two glasses chilling in the fridge. So thoughtful and unexpected. Peaceful and comfortable we were very happy with our stay and would def stay again in the future!

I highly recommend The Inn at Fox Hill farm! Nick and Polly were very gracious hosts, and the breakfast was amazing, with real maple syrup, y'all! Nick has quite a sense of humor, and it was wonderful to meet them both. Anything that you could want for your stay can be found here. The property is very peaceful and beautiful and was totally what I needed for a relaxing, uninterrupted getaway. The farm has been in the family for generations, and how lucky that they are willing to share it with us. You should stay here, you would not be disappointed!

Not a cookie cutter hotel room, thank God. Secluded "cabin type" building was overlooking open fields, pond, and New England forests. Cabin was so cozy, with antiques and history, I kind of wish we lived there!
