I loved the location, just minutes from the beach and a great restaurant called reunion kitchen. Simple coffee and pastries offered in the morning.

No a/c but fans were provided. Windows open up to courtyard so people can look in your room as they walk by if you have curtains open. We didn’t have a choice but to have them open as it was the only window and it was very warm in there.

Loved the room, very nicely decorated felt a bit like stepping back in time but not in a bad way. Retro feel but not outdated.

It was a surprise to received a message from the hotel after the reservation that would be a charge for the parking. I like to know all the chargers before the reservation, so I think the hotel or booking should let that be very clear.

A good clean room and was a quiet place to rest for a night of sleep after a heavy day of work.

Still not super enjoyable but you get what you pay for. If you’re on a budget this is a great spot but if you can afford another $100 or so try somewhere else

For our stay there was nothing we didn’t like given the position and space of our room.

Lovely room at the front of the property with balcony and sea view. Room was double aspect making it light and airy. There was tea and coffee available in the foyer. Pastries,muffins and fruit available for breakfast. Close to East Beach. Swimming pool and plenty of outside tables, chairs, seating and shade. The staff were all friendly and informative.

Charge for parking at the hotel was $15 per day, which I guess is not unusual for California. Parking was also not convenient for getting your bag upstairs.

Hotel is easy walking distance to the beach. Our room was clean and comfortable with all necessary conveniences. Property looked to be well maintained and provided some nice amenities such as lots of patio chairs and tables around the pool. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

They didn’t clean our room after our first night. When we asked, we were told we should have asked for it beforehand. However, we’d never been told about this when checking in.

We were placed upstairs and are older, 3 flights of stairs to get to our room. There were stains on a cloth chair, chipped paint, markings on the nightstands, entertainment center like black marker and stains on the wall that could have been easily cleaned or painted over.

Beautiful view of mountains and sea! And the fireplace, very cozy. It was also very comfy to sit outside during the evenings, some nice seating arrangements there. Just be conscious to not bother anyone after 10PM, as there's rooms all around with their bedroom windows facing right into the courtyard. We were lucky to have a room on second floor, not sure what the noise situation is on ground floor but it wasn't too busy when we were there.

I could hear the people above us late into night, even with ear plugs. A second floor room may be better.

The location and value! Walkable to East Beach and path along the ocean. Coffee was excellent, and pastries were nice.

The room we stayed in needed some updating. There was some bathroom damage and some tiles missing and we had problems with the TV remote not working. I don't like that parking is $15/day.

We really like the proximity to the beach and that there are so many restaurants and shops close by. The coffee in the morning was nice and the pool is kept clean and sparkling. The rooms are very clean and the staff are all very nice and helpful.
