Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. United Statesslightly loud- toilet running (just closed the door) and clicking HVAC unit. View sucked (they cant all be good tho). Charged beforehand for food that we didn't ask for and the hotel would keep whether we ordered food or not. No deck or place to smoke except out on the street.
staff super friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help. Late checkout. super comfy bed. best oatmeal and fish tacos Ive ever had. Lots of amenities in the room. We got left alone in our room. Felt special and treated like any other guest even though I'm usually disheveled and a bit weird sometimes. Very clean and functional.

United StatesIf you go during baseball season, you may be able to see the stadium from your room and you can certainly hear the excitement. This is fine for me, but the concert in the stadium one night - not so much.
This hotel is in walking distance to the convention center and convenient to a grocery, drug store and Gas Lamp Quarter restaurants.

Some information was missed on check in for example breakfast tokens and room service/ restaurant QR codes, was also slow however for the rest of our stay we received great service. T.V. doesn't offer much. Having tea with milk available 24/7 would be a bonus- Only coffee machine in room.
Nice big room. Friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast. Useful gym with a peloton bike however you will need your own subscription to use the bike. Hotel is very clean and in a good location, you can walk to nearby activities and restaurants.

Ideal location as the purpose of this trip was to attend a concert at Petco Park. The staff was exceptional, always kind and willing to go above and beyond.

The room itself was beautiful. We had a room on a high floor so the view was amazing. We could see the ocean and Petco park. The staff were also excellent. More than happy to assist and answer any questions. Even though they don't offer a buffet breakfast, the portion size and quality of the breakfast offered was exceptional

United StatesSome little things / not transparent hidden charges are annoying: breakfast needs to be reserved, not enough space for all and its a'la card; while booking it said breakfast included, but when you start digging into it, it's for two people only (we're a family of 4); there is a mysterious $15/day facility charge with a half a page instruction how you can use it by buying overpriced water and chocolate bars - very confusing; 65$ a night for parking ... a public parking costs you 12-13$ a night within 5 min walking distance, etc. The hotel people are very friendly and helpful, which makes it easy to manage.
It's a beautiful hotel with nice rooms; very central, walking distance to many places. Finish your day in the roof-top bar—it's gorgeous! The personnel are kind and helpful. You can park in a secured parking lot within 5 minutes' walking distance for $1/hour.

United StatesThe floor in our room was dirty. You could see the spots of dirtiness with the angle of the sun. It’s pretty gross especially when you have a pet. The pet fee was not mentioned until checkin which is annoying. Parking is silly expensive.
The location is impeccable. The rooftop bar while over priced is beautiful. The rooms are well appointed.

The staff were friendly and explained everything well. My wife had a medical incident one morning, and I called the desk to call 911. They were efficient and especially caring towards my wife and myself. It was very much appreciated. I would definitely stay there again. Great location, walking distance to a variety of restaurants .
