Waikīkī beach is very crowded and we weren’t able to get beach chairs. The beach is across the street from the property. The pool at the hotel was very small. Also, the wait for the elevators was long.

Room was large and beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was very good and the wait staff attentive.

Two things: 1.- The staff tell you there is not space on hotel parking to charge you 70usd/night but on my room view I saw the parking was empty!!! that is very bad for that king on hotel. 2.- I lost one gold earring in my room and I fill out a form and not any feedback or response from hotel yet and it was a month ago

    Locations and Facilities very nice

The price was a little expensive for the size but well worth the experience.

I liked the fact that beach was right across from the hotel & all the ABC stores around the area along with restaurants & food options.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. However, the hotel is VERY dated. Looks like the 70s, smells like the 70s. We paid for an ocean view room, we were given a partial view, so we mostly saw building and a little bit of the ocean. I was expecting a full view for the price we paid. The carpet definitely could be replaced. It was warped in multiple areas, causing a tripping hazard. The sliding glass doors are very loud. You can hear every time your upstairs neighbor opens and closes the door, in our instance it seemed like every 30 seconds one of the nights. We didn’t realize that’s what it was, it sounded like they kept dragging furniture around. Security told us it was the sliding door. The bed was very uncomfortable, left with sore hips and back. If you need a good pillow I recommend bringing your own. The last thing, the elevators took forever!! And when one would stop on our floor, it was always be full so we either had to cram on or wait for another. If you aren’t too high up, I recommend taking the stairs as it would be much quicker. I would also recommend bringing extra hangers. I went with my sister and we both had lots of hanging stuff. They give you I think 6 hangers. Thankfully we brought some

The hotel was right across the street from the beach, and we got a room with a partial ocean view. The staff was AMAZING!! Kanoe and Bryan greeted us every morning at the hotel restaurant for breakfast. Kanoe remembered our name the second day she met us. Both were super sweet. Dale has an important job of keeping the birds away from the tables since it was outside seating, and he was always very pleasant. We could tell when his days off were cuz birds were everywhere. Tessa was one of the wait staff and she always went above and beyond. She even took care of us when we weren’t in her section cuz we never met out waiter that day as he never came over to us. Antonio is one of the bus boys and he was so sweet, always smiling and in a good mood. The breakfast food was AMAZING every day!! The pool was also nice, great waitstaff as well. We got a cabana one of the days and it was well worth the money. Dado was super sweet, always checking on us to make sure we have what we need. Bishop was also very attentive, but once I closed out the bill at the end of his shift the person replacing him didn’t come over once. Dado made sure to replace our waters, which are free when you reserve a cabana.

Front desk should've been more friendlier. Valet didn't even help us load our bags. Very disappointing. Maybe because we're not foreigners like most of the guests. But all paying customers should be treated equally.

The rooms had a connecting door. The next door people had 2 young babies/kids and could hear them cry all night. However, when we asked the front desk, they kindly arrange a room transfer. The new room was great, but had some sand on the floor and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly.

    Good location.

While I genuinely enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort, there were a few things that could be improved. I liked the buffet option, but it seemed to be the same every day. The only noticeable change was swapping pancakes for French toast and then repeating. A bit more variety would really elevate the dining experience. Also, the pool was a bit of a letdown. I do appreciate that the beach is conveniently just across the street, but it would’ve been nice to also relax in a well-designed pool area. The pool felt quite small more suited for kids than for guests looking for a relaxing swim. That said, the food was still good overall, and the beachfront access remains a big plus.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort! From the moment wr arrived, the experience was nothing short of amazing. The overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff truly made a difference. they were incredibly accommodating, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. One standout was the lovely valet parking lady attendant. she was an absolute gem! She is so warm, cheerful, and always ready with a joke to brighten your day. I genuinely adored her, it’s people like her who make a stay unforgettable. We also really appreciated the thoughtful extras like the free water bottles and eco-friendly tote bag. It’s a small touch, but it made a big difference in comfort and convenience during our stay. And a special shout-out to the lovely attendants at The SHOR restaurant’s breakfast team, Brian and Lisa! They made our mornings so special with their warm smiles and outstanding service. They truly set a positive tone for the day.

Good hotel with nice amenities, and great location, but decades old outdated rooms.

The rooms are very much outdated since probably 80s. They said that they are now upgrading them, but this was not the room in which I stayed. For example a simple wall painting , and mirror update (it has oxidation on the back or maybe some marking on the front side) is something that I would expected from Hyatt Regency multi start hotel quality. After all I paid with taxes and food for 5 days $2600. For this cost I would expect to get not just the view, but also a quality room that is more like Hyatt style. It just did not feel like a luxury hotel, but more like good quality motel.

Very good location and they upgraded me (at least this is what they said) for free. Although I do not know what was the alternative that I was upgraded from. The best part was that it had a grade unobstructed view towards the ocean , The staff was great and very friendly. Always ready to meet expectations. Breakfast was very god and rich on options. The swimming pool was nice with the option to take beach chairs and towels to the beach. So those amenities ware great,
