Resturant services was slow, I thought charging $48. for valet parking plus an additional $40. plus per night resort fee was over the top.

A few weeks earlier we had stayed in the Hyatt Regency in Yokohama, Japan. The difference in customer service was incredible. Yokohama staff could not do enough to inform, support and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Everything was impeccable and for more than a £100 less a night! We couldn't say the same for Lake Washington. Staff seemed uninterested. Restaurant arrangements for dinner and breakfast were disorganised and expensive. Ordering a taxi also seemed an unusual request for them. We arrived quite early and asked about an early check in, which was available if we upgraded our room for another $150 (50% discount). On a positive, the room was good and the beds comfortable. The weather was great so we got to enjoy the lakeside setting.

This hotel does not have bellhop/porter during our stay. It does have luggage cart. So we have to push the luggage cart ourselves from lobby to the room, and the other way around when we check out.

The building, the location, the view of the lake all are superb. The park next to the hotel is a plus point. For aviation lover, it is right next to airplane assembly plant. Love it.

I hate when hotels don’t include “resort fees” in the cost. It feels so deceiving. I get resort fees in tropical places but $68.00 per day in Seattle in March is ridiculous! Our resort in Hawaii at Christmas was only $45.00 per day. And then $48.00 per day parking just show the rates as they are instead of the hidden fees.

The property and rooms are beautiful, fitness center is great too.

We were placed in a room that could have been offered as a adjoining room. Our reason for the stay was a dance convention/competitions like many others staying there for the weekend. The first night was great. The second night dance parents must have dropped their kids off in the room next to ours and slept down the hall because all we heard was loud music, stomping, doors slamming, running up and down the hall, and utter chaos all night. We had dance from 7am till 11pm so not getting sleep made the next day challenging!!! I called down to the front desk in which a facility responded to the noise complaint but it kept on till 3am. Obviously it was not the hotels fault the parents put all the kids in one room...but it made our stay very uncomfortable!!!

The bathroom floor was dangerously slippery by the shower when wet. The shower had no lip or door to stop the water from getting on the bathroom floor. With the shower right near the bathroom door, it made for quite the slip.
