Rooftop bar - food was salty and not up to the standard of the price Staff was great! The hotel temperature of the hallways, elevators, bathroom upstairs - TOO HOT!!!! TURN THE A/C ON!! As someone who is perimenopausal, it was a nightmare.

Staff were excellent. Clean. Awesome shower in suite. Plenty of room.

They charged me an extra buffet (:() but then took it off after I pointed it out- but that was good! :)

The rooms were clean and large, staff was helpful and friendly ( especially John and Amber and all the valet), and the location was awesome!

The place is absolutely beautiful. But they charge for absolutely anything extra, even breakfast. The cost on booking was not reflective of what was charged when we arrived either. It was about 50+ more dollars upon arrival. But we were booked so we couldn't cancel.

The elevator and hallways were very hot. The bathroom door was tricky, and my husband had to push it in a little from the other side to release the lock when I was in there one time during our overnight stay. The bathroom sink overflows onto the back of the sink when washing hands. Poor placement, I guess. The pool could have been cleaner.

The valet was prompt and friendly. The lobby was nice, and the reception was average . My room was clean and fresh. The shower was excellent. We enjoyed the fact that the room had a safe and that it was easy to use. The pool area was adequate. The breakfast hostess was friendly. The food offered was decent.

First thing I didn't like was the whole, ridiculous idea of valet parking ONLY. I wanted to park my car and register, return to the car for bags, get out fast to make visits. But found that I had to get everything out at once (alone), leave the car to be parked, and check in--and no one was at the service desk for another five-plus minutes; THEN go down and get the car from the valet to visit my sister (tipping of course). Meanwhile paying an extra $25-something for the daily "service." Then discovered that the one light (or light-switch) I needed (over the couch where I intended to knit) was inoperable. Worse, I deliberately requested a room with private balcony but found that smoking was forbidden even on a completely private balcony, overlooking a parking lot and trash-storage area. Sorry, but I just don't see how smoking could possibly affect locked cars and garbage bins. Next time, I'll stay at the hotel nextdoor.

Never bother with breakfast, so I'd be a poor judge. Loved the location--beautiful, safe, good shopping, restaurants, nice amenities.

We loved the continental breakfast, but understand it is in a pilot program to no longer be offered but they grandfathered us in since we made our reservation in April so it was included with our stay. There are no breakfast restaurants in the area except a coffee shop across the street. Also, we called ahead and a man said we could check in early like we did and paid extra for in April, he said he made a note on my reservation, we got all the way down there and a Luisa said we couldn’t due to the holiday weekend. So we had to drive around for 4 hours and get into holiday traffic and heat we were trying to avoid.

We love the art deco and cleanliness and location in Villano we road with nice man Eduardo who drove the golf cart to the pier to see fireworks, he helped us get chairs out of our car vallet. The golf cart shuttle also can take you to the beach but we walked the short walk. The Pesca rooftop view was amazing we came back and listened to Dee Jay Natural after fireworks, and had lunch there again the following day & swam in the rooftop pool the next day was refreshing on a hot day! My daughter while walking at night on the beach saw a massive female green sea turtle coming up to lay eggs, that was a rare treat and one of her bucket lists!

We adore Vilano beach, and this was our first time to stay at Hyatt Place rather than our usual spot. I chose it because it included breakfast and other hotel amenities, as it was a holiday weekend. Even though it is set a smidge off the beach (a five minute walk, tops), the golf cart shuttle was always available, the proximity to Publix and the handful of restaurants was perfect, and we barely noticed not being right on the ocean. The hotel appears brand new, and the entire staff, from valet to front desk to housekeeping, catered to every single need we had. We were happy with the size of the room, and the housekeeping staff stayed on top of keeping our room spotless. They even cleaned it twice in one day because we accidentally dumped sand all over our clean floor from our beach cooler. And even though we had to valet every day because of limited parking, the valets were fantastic, and we got spoiled by walking out and having access to our car within five minutes without having to deal with the crowds. The breakfast is great, the beds are comfortable, the room was quiet even though it was a packed-out hotel, and I felt like I was in paradise for the week that we stayed!

When booking from on line, was a great price for location, when I got there, we were told mandatory valet parking @ $25 a day plus essential cost. I would like to have know before I booked or perhaps I missed it. It was a very nice stay.
