How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

They charged me again although they reversed it but my card is still blocked for the amount - they should have checked earlier to avoid all this - The breakfast is good but no variety - at the exact same venue for 4 days

Each floor should have an ice machine or a vending room but, it was only located on the first floor. As a pregnancy woman, it was tiresome to keep coming down stairs for ice. Secondly, I felt like I was being profiled during Saturday morning's breakfast. I gave the attendant my name and I proceeded into the breakfast area to obtain my food. The attendant came up to me a couple minutes later claiming that he never got my name, when I did give him my name before proceeding into breakfast. He didn't ask no one else, but he asked me again, a solo African American woman. It made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Even after I got my breakfast, the same attendant came to me one more time and offer me condiments as a courtesy. I told him that I had everything that I needed. To be honest the breakfast wasn't even the best and for people to have to pay $11 for it, they need to improve on the breakfast options. Offer waffles and breakfast meat and please have closed containers of yogurt.
The room that I got was incredibly spacious and it was very clean. There was no issues with the AC and I was able to sleep comfortably. Also, I appreciate the woman who checked me in and signed me up for the Hyatt Rewards, so I could get two free water bottles a day. It's the little things that count~

bed was very comfortable. a 1min walk to two food options. staff was expreamly friendly! good experience, good room. good continental breakfast (liked the French toast sticks), and glad you could get a real coffee cup or a to-go coffee cup.

Located right off Route 1 behind a row of restaurants, it was easy to find and walkable to restaurants and the Princeton Marketfair Mall. The front desk people were very friendly and the lobby, breakfast area and our room was very clean.

Dining area; there was not enough seating nor food for all guests during the 26-30th Dec holiday. During our stay we couldnt have breakfast together once due to scarcity overall. The staff dis their very best to make up for it

During the holidays, the breakfast situation was a disaster. Poor management planning for a full hotel when there is not enough seating and food and drinks for guests. We are a family of four and we werent able to have breakfast together once in 4 days due to poor seating and food avail.

Room is too dark, and the gray lace privacy curtains made it darker. The biggest issue was being in a room overlooking the bar/restaurant, which was noisy until 11-12pm…I was on the 3rd floor. Also, on that side, the bright lights outside my window was terrible for sleep, as even the blocking curtain didn’t hide it all. The lights are on all night.

Breakfast was nothing to look forward to. Coffee was good, but scrambled eggs watery and sausage not tasty.

The air conditioner produced a slight smell, and it was not quiet. A patch of carpet was clearly repaired. Nothing else I encountered was negative at all.
The bed and couch in the room were comfortable. Room noise was minimal despite being directly adjacent to the elevators. The shower was better than anticipated, and the mini-fridge and provided supplies were more than adequate.
