While the staff was professional, they did not clearly explain the security deposit, which is held from the account but not actually charged. It would be better if this was communicated more clearly and kindly, especially for tourists.

The breakfast is fantastic, perfect for getting you going on all-day hiking and adventures. The family suite was spacious with a full kitchen, 2 separate bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. Close to the airport for early flights.

Easy check in. Clean, quiet and comfortable. The free breakfast was outstanding. They provide everything you could possibly need. I also liked the fact that they use real silverware and glass plates. Less waste on the environment. The dining area was clean and well maintained. Also the eggs didn't taste weird like the usual free breakfast at most hotels.

Hyatt House in Anchorage is easy to access from the airport. The proximity to main roads makes it a great base while in Anchorage. The staff was wonderful and upgraded us at no cost. The room was very clean, roomy, and comfortable. They also have breakfast options in the morning.

It would have been nice to have fresh eggs (there were fairly dry scrambled eggs in a warming dish) and some gluten free options (or having the food marked with allergens, at least).

Breakfast is available in the lobby restaurant until 9:30 most days.

There is not a thing that we did not like.

We stayed here at the beginning of our trip to Alaska and at the end of the trip. We picked Hyatt House because of its location and proximity to the airport. We were extremely happy with our stay at Hyatt. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and spacious, and it is a bonus to have breakfast in the morning.Also the day of our departure at 5 o'clock AM they arranged for a shuttle to take us to the airport and even gave us a little breakfast to go bag ,which I thought was extremely thoughtful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to everyone planning a trip to Anchorage.

My only negative is no in-room safe. That would have been nice.

The breakfast was outstanding and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The bar was small but the bartender makes excellent margaritas. We didnt order a meal from the hotel, but everyone we talked to said it was very good. Its centrally located and we could get everywhere with a $13 uber. The rooms are great and the shower is outstanding. Was very clean. We didnt seem to have the homeless in our area, like other areas of ANC.
