It said it had breakfast included, that’s why ee chose it, when we asked they told us the coffee in the room was the breakfast.

The room smelled terrible. There was an old coffee pot in the room on the floor with no coffee. Advertised free breakfast, but nothing available, or provided. Lucky we brought soda and chips. The pillows were hard on the bed, difficult to sleep. Just one bath towel and no washcloths. The floors outside made of concrete were buckled on each level... like they could collapse at any moment. Right by the freeway, noisy locale.

It was a cheap option for holiday weekend. A bed and shower for the night and tv worked too.

This particular Howard Johnson was very disappointing compared to other Howard Johnson we have stayed at in the past. Room was outdated with some cracks in flooring, bite marks/pen marks to cushioned headboard, bite marks to tv remote control, television and hair dryer did not work, no iron board.

It advertised breakfast, which there was not any. The staff said we'll there's a coffee pot in your room. Ummm that's not breakfast especially for my kids.

From the time we arrived we were told there was no breakfast only coffee in the room. They did not give us the rooms next to each other as we requested. There were roaches under the beds. The bathroom was horrible, bathroom faucet was hard to use, so old and rusty. The iron didn't work, so we had to borrow one from another room. To noisy at night.

The upkeep to the property needs to be improved dramatically. The hotel stated that it was non-smoking but there were cigarette burns on the table the shower curtain and in the bathroom. Housekeeping did not come to change the two small trash cans until Sunday which would have been my third day. The TV went out on Sunday night all I got was sound no picture. The elevator was super slow and it wouldn't move twice when I tried to use it and I was on the fourth floor. The breakfast that was quoted in my price was not provided the whole time I was there and I was not informed of that until I checked in and questioned it and was told that I was provided with a coffee maker in my room which I thought was listed already in my amenities. Coffee maker did not work. Most of the metal surfaces in the restroom had rust on it even the toilet paper rolling thing.

I like that the room is spacious. The design in the room was cute.

The room was very old like the 70's. It needs a facelift. The toilet top did not match the tank. The place needs a total facelift.

The bed was comfortable, but it moved if you leaned on it.

Hotel didn't realize I did pre- check in. They even called me at almost 1am to ask if I still needed the room, after I checked in. Room smelled like smoke and could use a major update. Furniture was old with cigarette burns, headboard was scratched, stuffing exposed. Light over the mirror didn't work. Rusted sprinklers and metal hangers. Housekeeping ignored the do not disturb sign on the door. Microwave, coffee maker and clock not plugged in. Had to move the microwave to get to a plug.

Pre-check in was quick and easy. Every staff member I encountered was super friendly. There was a decent sized "mini" fridge and a microwave in the room.
