The boardwalk transportation. So you can't walk down boardwalk. Didn't like that.

On the boardwalk, garage,

It is pet friendly but not a big spot to walk your dog.

Friendly staff and view

A bit of halway noise traveling through the doors. Could really benefit from acoustic pannel in halways and rooms

The location was excellent!

The pet smell I will never stay at another hotel where it's pet friendly. We did not use the pool because of the pets being in the pool which is discussing.

We were on separate floors and there was no view.

Not being with my family

I thought when I booked this, it was oceanfront...it was not! So I payed 3 hundred dollars a night for a alley way....which I returned to the front desk in a mind blowing experience to say what I ordered was oceanfront..she was very nice and said, the property is called howard johnsons oceanfront....wow, opened my eyes how much I just got totally screwed by Booking Com. Moving on to the next year with alot more considerations!

Elevators were kinda slow

The staff was great. They got us checked in a little earlier, which was so helpful. The room was clean and stocked with towels and toilet paper.

The only thing that I didn't like was that the pool and hot tub were full of sand. Understandably, it came from guests not being courteous and rinsing off prior to getting in, so there's not much staff can do about it.

We got an ocean front room; the room was spacious, the beds were very comfy, and the overall experience was great! The location was perfect; we were able to walk right from our room to the beach, and the boardwalk - we'll definitely come back!

Parking was a little tight. If you have a lot of bags, I suggest unloading before searching for a spot; unfortunately, we parked at the top of the lot, then had to walk down with a lot of luggage.

It was clean, excellent location

Room had a weird buzzing sound that came on and off no idea where it was coming from and the room coffee not so great, but you go buy coffee as we did.

I like the fact that down the have brothers pizza restaurant excellent food and breakfast, I checkout a 1 without any extra cost.

Location

Our room was directly beside the elevator…like 1 step. This created lots of noise. We were woke every morning around 5am from the garbage truck and the banging of the dumpsters because we were the last room beside the alleyway. Rooms were sooooo small! Had to shut the bathroom door to be able to use the toilet. Not much hot water.

The shower is a closet, super tiny and the water drains into the bedroom

The location was great. The balcony with a small view of the boardwalk and ocean to one side and a small view of the bay to the other side was nice. There are plenty of parking spots. Staff were friendly.

Lack of a fitness room.

Nice hotel and pet friendly! Rooms are super nice and updated and the parking is a 10/10 it’s a garage so our car stayed away from the heat. On the boardwalk so location is one of the best

Carpet in the hallways are out dated and a little gross, a full body mirror is needed/would be nice in the rooms, and a outside shower head would be nice too if added before going into the hotel

Location on the boardwalk. The room was modern and clean. The cleaning staff cleaned daily. Parking is included with price and always available on site. Plenty of hot water for showers. Has two elevators. There is an ice machine and the restaurant inside can fill your cooler for free. Love the free coffee and hot chocolate on the first floor. All the staff were friendly. Dogs are allowed and we enjoyed meeting other guests who had dogs with them.
