Pleasant if older courtyard type design with outdoor pool. Entrance from outside room. Rooms was fine and clean, nothing special but quite comfortable. Small bathroom.

There wasn’t really anywhere with grass to actually walk your dog aside from a small steep hill. The rooms were fairly clean at surface level, beds, cloths and towels, surface areas. However it could use a good deep cleaning on the furniture in general. There was food splattered along the baseboard of the tv stand that our dog kept trying to lick off, the mirrors edging was filthy and the bed frames could use a wipe down. There is also no room for a late check out. They don’t do them there. The free breakfast consists of cereal, bagels, and toast. The coffee maker in the room is not friendly to people who want to bring outside coffee to make their own. The coffee makers have the special made filter that goes into the top of it and it tastes like water when done. The pool was full of dead bugs floating around and could definitely use a good sweep or two to get them out daily. They do have blackout curtains but I suggest brining a sleep mask because of how well it is lit up outside I did wake up confused the first night on what time it actually was and thought it was daylight outside. I definitely recommend bringing a plug in nightlight for the bathroom or near the bathroom like we did because it’s very dark and turning on the lights will blind the people sleeping. You also cannot reserve a king sized bed and have an animal I believe. We wanted a king sized bed and ended up having to sleep separately our entire stay because the double beds are small and would only fit two people if your both on the skinny side. Needless to say no snuggles for you if your not. 😔 The beds are comfortable enough to sleep but after more than two nights your back starts to hurt because the beds have no give, no bounce, like laying on a flat board. All in all the price isn’t awful for the area but for the amount of things that were inconvenient, not available, or just a lack of wasn’t worth the price. Especially with an animal.

I liked the location, the pool, and that it was pet friendly. This place is good for a quick clean place to stay and is conveniently right off the highway. It has a nice pool and the rooms look as though they have been remodeled. They smell nice as well. They have trash cans outside along the rooms which was nice so that we didn’t have to put our trash outside the door for it to sit if we wanted it emptied but didn’t want our room cleaned. They also have doggy bag stations as well which is really nice if you forgot to bring your own in order to keep the grounds nice and clean. The staff is friendly and mostly keep to themselves. The rooms do come with a nice sized clean fridge, a clean microwave, a tv, and a comfortable chair or two as well as a coffee maker. The pool is nice and peaceful early in the day and afternoon during the week. I’m not sure about the rest of the time. You can go to the office at any time of day and ask for necessities and they will provide them. The hotel is very well lit outside and they do have cameras everywhere which makes it feel nice and safe. It is a decent place to stay at for a night or two but could use some improvements to keep patrons coming back or for longer stays for the price that is charged.

When I checked in with my tall but young 17 yr old son at my side, the front desk staff asked how many guests were staying, and I responded 3. We finished up, and I proceeded to our car where my husband awaited. We grabbed our things and headed to our room. Not even 5 minutes in our phone rang, and the front desk personnel asked how many adults I had with me bc he saw 3. I responded with no, it's 2 adults, 1 child aged 17. He kept insisting It was 3 adults until I responded with "No you did not, my son is just tall". We hung up from there, and the next morning when we went down for breakfast, he apologized. The back and forth was annoying for the fact that it was already late but I am glad he didn’t just charge me based off his assumption.... I said all that to say if they watched to see us enter our room, then at least you know they are watching the property for shiesty behavior, and you'll be safe ish.

I was happy that the room and overall building were clean and decently well kept. They are pet friendly, so I was concerned that the room would smell like dog, but it didn't. Beds were clean and comfortable, the mini fridge was decently sized (I despise the extremely small ones), and the location was super convenient. There is a really good donut shop a block or so away and the Golden Corral was across the "street" (cleanest one I've seen in a while too). Concord Mall is less than 20 minutes away (better than Carolina Mall) and downtown Concord is worth a visit again all near this Motel location. Also, the night staff are definitely watching the property through cameras, so you can add that to peace of mind for safety lol. See "didn't like" paragraph to learn how I can say that with confidence lol

The breakfast could use some protein. Perhaps eggs or Greek yoghurt. Too carb loaded for my likes.

As many commenters mentioned, the room was exceptionally clean, which is very important to me. Surprisingly, the beds were incredibly comfortable which greatly aided a quality sleep. I was also pleased with the arrangement of parking and very well lit lot as I traveled with a high end bicycle.

The room was large and comfortable, and both room and bathroom were very clean. The staff was gentle during the check in. It has a huge pool but we unfortunely didn't have time to dive in.

They were renovating at the time we stayed so they're was a lot of noise and hollering from workers very early in the mornings. The room floor looked to not have been vacuumed when we arrived.

smoke room (definitely my fault for not paying attention) but definitely for a non smoker that room was definitely a smoke room but me and my daughter dealt with it and enjoyed our big king and slept well the lack of lighting (the lamp didn't work)

I loved the location for sure made it easy to get on to the interstate. I loved how kind the staff was even for my late arrival.

The rates are way too high. Plus $60 deposit for pet and won’t get back for 3=werks. Kinda ridiculous. We travel a lot and this is the first time we had to make a deposit. Just think rates are ridiculous for one nite stay.
