United StatesWorst breakfast experience I can remember. We received our breakfast through a bulletproof case, in a brown bag, based on the number of people we had. This could be because of the safety concerns of the staff and the location, but it was a negative experience.
The location was ideal for getting to Metlife Stadium.

South AfricaDisappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend Our recent stay at the Howard Johnson by Wyndham in North Bergen was, unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt uneasy. The lobby was dark and unwelcoming, with a thick bulletproof glass barrier separating the reception area from guests. There was a handwritten sign stating that the entrance restroom was out of order, which added to the sense of neglect. When I asked about the security glass, I was told it was installed “for COVID”—a response that felt evasive and unconvincing. The section of the hotel we were placed in was dirty and had a noticeable unpleasant smell. While the room itself was just barely acceptable, the overall condition of the surroundings left much to be desired. My wife, who is usually not one to complain about accommodations, remarked that this was the first hotel she genuinely felt disappointed in. Breakfast was another letdown. Rather than a proper meal, we received a brown paper bag containing two muffins, a juice box, and a snack bar. It felt more like an afterthought than a service provided by an established hotel brand. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. If you’re considering staying here—do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

United Statesthe first thing the hotel is old, dirty and I think that the pictures doesn't show the real infrastructure of the place and if the hotel is going to serve breakfast it needs to be something decent at least and no only a bottle juice, coffee, granola bar and muffin on a paper bag. the guy in the front desk at night was very nice. I'm sad to have spent my money on such an ugly experience.

CanadaDaily cleaning was a challenge, we only had our towel replaced daily.... I could not believe that they did not remove or empty the garbage bin beside the little coffee machine in our room. Safe was broken in our room, we were relocated to another room only for the safe to be broken again. And the safe is not even anchored to the ground, and light enough to be taken. As an international traveler, guests have valuables that have to be secured in the safe but unfortunately, they could not accommodate this simple requirement.

United StatesThere were flies in the room. The carpet was in need of a vacuum. The bathroom was orderly, but needed repairs to the ceiling and wall tiles. The shower head is too high and nearly touches the ceiling over the bath tub. The toilet seat was loose and had scratches and scuff marks. The toilet is located to close to the door. You literally block the door while using the toilet.
The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean.

CanadaBreakfast had one option of a doggy bag with mini muffins, a Nature Valley bar, and a bottle of orange juice (all expired from last year), the shower was dirty with rust stains and mold, room had a hole in the wall from previous guest, possible blood stain on the floor next to the bed, and stains on lampshade of desk, we kept our shoes on the whole time we bathed and walked around the room
The bed was comfy, the TV worked well, and the Wi-fi was good
