How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Juice and small muffins for the free breakfast, not my idea of breakfast. The room could have been cleaner, you can see the filth on the walls, especially behind the bathroom door.

We overslept, and when the front desk called at checkout time we asked for just a few minutes to get things together. The woman on the phone said she’d give us 15 minutes, which we very much appreciated, but then she stated that if we weren’t out in 15 minutes she was calling the police. I feel that was uncalled for.

The breakfast. The muffins and biscuits were beyond dry and tasted old. The description should have said a dry snack instead of breakfast. So if anyone is staying and wants breakfast before your day, I suggest go somewhere else.

There were no towels in the room the room smoke like smoke even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room The neighbors next to and the room next door were rude the owner would constantly give dirty looks the air conditioning unit was leaking into the room the floor was wet there was handprints and dirt on the wall
Now I have no issues but what I did like was location and the beds were comfortable

The employe was sleep while i was trying to check out . He made me walk all the way back to my room to ask maintenance woman to check room WHICH WAS HIS DAMN JOB TO WAKE UP GET OFF HIS ASS AND CHECK! Hot tub in room was DIRTY, and shower was dirty . My boyfriend and i had to clean the hot tub before use and the shower was so dirty we didnt even bother to use

An older motel. Updated need but clean and the lady at the desk was so warm helpful and made you feel very welcome. All we needed was some food and a place to lay our heads for a few hours as we traveled home ✌️

The room was dirty The walls had all kinds of witting on it The tub kept getting stomp up The bed if you pull the sheets up you will see holes all in the mattress The location gives homeless vibes This not an hotel that I will ever stays in again The room had an smell in it The guest was rude The host was not cheerful Only have one lamp in the room when there was supposed to be two on each side of the bed

The carpet was gross in the room. The bed did not have a real fitted sheet on it or protector. It smelled as if it was a previous smoking room and the ac unit was very stale. We walked in and actually left the place to find another hotel after inspecting the room. Of course it was nonrefundale so we didn't bother to complain to the staff.

Worst stay I ever experienced stay away from this place is disgusting, everywhere you’re looking at is dirty,looks like never been cleaned since opened in 1950s I have to unclouded toilet my self to use it wondering how places like this are still in the business unbelievable

We where having issues with the passkey trying to get in the room.almost 10 minutes to get into the room. Cleaning staff was friendly. My other issue was when I went to hand back the passkey the guy in the office was sleeping and snoring. There where other passkey on counter all while he slept. I woke his butt up.
