There is so much stuff in the inn that it feels a little musty, although the staff is excellent and works hard. Our room was not cleaned up after our first night, which was a disappointment.

Individual and eccentric. The place is layered with antiques and kitschy items giving it an over-the-top nutty quality that we enjoyed. Evan is a superb cook and accommodating host who is willing to explain all the amazing stuff. The building and location are excellent and the price was very reasonable for high season in Mystic.

Evan was wonderful and the house was so unique and filled with so much history and character. Breakfasts are amazing (thank you, Evan!) and he really takes care to make what each guest wants. Such a great location - close to EVERYTHING! Also the price was really reasonable. Such a fun time!

Evan's hospitality was genuine and warm. He loves his house and it's history. He cooked for everyone in the house and took great enjoyment from doing so. The house and its contents were fascinating to sit, relax and appreciate. Lovely environment!

The host made us feel so welcome and was so accomodating! Amazing history of the home. The breakfast was exceptional. We were in the area attending a wedding. The bride and groom stayed there, too as well as another couple. We all enjoyed an amazing breakfast together as if we were at a friends home. Would definitely book here again

We were able to bring our dog, which was great. But the listing didn't say anything about the $50 dog fee which we paid on arrival. Not really unexpected that there was a fee, just too bad it wasn't mentioned when we booked.

Antiques everywhere, Christmas decorations galore, a fabulous breakfast, spacious room and charming innkeeper Evan made for a relaxing and fun stay.

We are not pet people. But Evan was respectful about the dogs being in a separate section of the house with gates. They were not noisy and were happy to greet new comers to the house.

Evan our host was a delight. Clearly, an expert on his family heritage and the background regarding the house. More delightful antiques, books, magazines, games, etc. than you could even take in. The room was cozy, the bed was very comfortable. Loved all the antiques and how they wove them into the ambience. We thoroughly enjoyed our multicourse breakfast. Yummy Country breakfast with side of ham and yummy pumpkin waffles with spiced apples and home cooked potatoes. Plus delightful, homemade cinnamon rolls Everything was homemade. Evan took a genuine interest in us, and was very open about sharing stories but also gave us privacy as well. Wish we had more time to spend there.

Our room was very cold! We turned off AC but didn’t work.

Owner is an amazing person! His breakfast is homemade and delicious. He explains everything and he makes breakfast with his love.

Beautiful house with a wonderful warm host. Good parking and lovely outdoor areas to relax. Swimming pool is lovely and is particularly nice to sit by in the evenings

A very unique property. This is not a cookie cutter hotel ! Each room is uniquely decorated. Breakfast was amazing. Our host asked what we would like to have for breakfast. Outdoor pool was well maintained and gorgeous amongst the gardens.
