United StatesThe first room they gave me the door was open when I got to it the sliding glass door didn’t have a lock and there was a weird attic crawl space in the ceiling. The second room was ground floor and at least had locking doors.

United StatesI thought this was a hotel, it’s a motel. The bathroom was not updated but would have been fine except the shower tub didn’t drain well. The rooms were half updated. Things were clean but the facility is older. No elevator but the staff did offer to carry our bags.
Staff were friendly and it was close to the ocean and attractions. Slightly updated room.

United StatesWe were told breakfast was served from 6:30-9:30, but at 7 it still wasn't all prepared and available. What was available was not very good. We decided to eat out the rest of the week.
The breakfast was not great, but otherwise the stay was good. The room was clean, the location was excellent (VERY close to the beach) and I have no complaints.

United StatesThe property could use some minor maintenance here and there. There is a liquor store right next-door. I arrived late and exhausted after dark. Most of the rooms have either a harbor view or an ocean view but nobody bothered to mention that and I was given a room with basically no view. There were 3 cars in the parking lot.

United StatesA lamp was faulty and kept flashing when turned on. A replacement bulb didn't fix the problem so that lamp couldn't be used, making the room darker than we liked. The shower kept dripping after use so we had to get creative so the drip didn't keep us awake.
The breakfast was decent except for the eggs. Eggs really need to be cooked at time of service to avoid getting dried and rubbery. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when we wanted to extend our stay one more day. The location of the property was very convenient, right off the main highway, but was set back far enough that roadway noise was not a problem.

United StatesWhen we stopped on our way into town to see if we could check in early, we were met with a very rude "Are you a rewards member? Check in is 3:00" while putting the check in sign on the desk. No one was there, not a car in the lot. Could have been said a little nicer, or maybe even let us in early. The room was pretty dark, and though we had a slider to the outside, it was pretty dreary out there- an old grill that someone was working on, dried out grass, not a great view.
Bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

United StatesThe toilet in our room was broke. We talked to the gentleman at desk and he came looked. He said he would have mechanic fix the next day. We stayed 2 nights. We also asked for clean towels and room cleaned. The room was not cleaned. He said he would write up housekeeping because it was logged to clean. The next day we talked to another gentleman at desk and not much got done. We had an handicap room as all that was left. I am hoping they fix toilet before someone with a handicap gets room.

United StatesThe shower was hard to operate. It was very hard to pull to get the shower to work. We were afraid if we pulled too hard, we would break it. It needs to be worked on. The toilet never completely shut off. I did report it to the front desk when I checked out.

United StatesThe breakfast was a little lacking, the potatoes were way under cooked and biscuit's were little tiny hockey pucks. the eggs were scary looking so we both stayed away from those. The biggest issue we had was ants in our room. It wasn't a show stopper for us but annoying to say the least. Every time you would look you could find a couple little sugar ants crawling on something.
The property is in a decent location you can smell and hear the ocean, but from our room we couldn't see it. It was a pretty quiet place to stay and the staff was great. it was perfect for what we were looking for in our mini vacation away from the mundane day to day work life. The area has a lot to offer if your looking for sight seeing, it's a really beautiful part of California.

United StatesThe hotel itself was fine. Just a few things I was disappointed with. One being, it took at least 20 minutes for the water to get hot in the shower and shower’s water pressure was nonexistent. Also, our room had a sliding glass door that led to a courtyard that had a barbecue and volleyball net. Which was great despite the fact that there was so much dog feces that you couldn’t even walk. It was bad. I travel with my companion dog and clean up after him, which not all pet owners do unfortunately. However, the hotel should have maintenances make sure the hotel grounds are clean.
Nice location, right next to the harbor. Great walking area for pets. Breakfast was great.
