The dishonesty man at the front desk was trying to take advantage. He was very rude. I just didn't have a good feeling about him.. And he gave my room away to another customer. I had already called and let the hotel know that I was going to be late.. And he was very racist. He charged my card twice for the same purchase and tried to tell me that my card was declining. on his end. And I know that it wasn't because I called my bank. The purchase was pending twice on my account. He was very dishonest, and I did not trust him at all . 🤥🤥😒🫤😕.

I love the receptionist. that works the night shift. That checked me in on friday. When I got there, she was a joy to be around, and she took good care of me and my family. And she cared about the customers. And? She carried a lovely and beautiful smile on her face. Every time i came in contact with her. She was very helpful when I asked questions. And she explained everything to me when I checked in my room on Friday. and she made sure we had everything and we were comfortable even though. The guy, the ballhead guy at the front desk, had already given our room away to another customer.She tried to make sure we were comfortable even though I did not get the room that I made reservations on.. Called ahead of time, letting them know i was going to be late, but I was still coming.

Stove was dirty and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Bathroom needs updating. Shower head is too high for average sized people to reach. Toilet is too low to the floor and isn’t suitable for tall people. Only half of the mirror above the vanity sink lit up. Wall decorations in the kitchen were not secured to the wall and kept falling off. Baseboard in the bedroom was lying on the floor. Need to put a lamp on the end table by the sofa because the light by the door is way too bright.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Windows were great with the adjustable blinds. AC worked well and kept the room cool in the hottest time of year. A TV in all bedrooms was a bonus. Plenty of cabinet space in the kitchen is a plus for staying more than a few days.

Only one tv worked as it should. Minor issue considering we came for the beach, and the kids still had access to their electronic devices.

Because I have a large family, I've come to rely on Best Western Plus to accommodate my family in one room/suite.

Breakfast was horrible. 1st morning eggs and grits and it was cold, 2nd morning, Not enough breakfast when I got there, at 7am. This is my 2nd time. First visit, I was charged twice, this time we paid in full at the front desk, On our way home. I got a call saying I had a balance of $358. When the entire $858 is gone from account. I was coming back in November. For my honeymoon, But after that experience. It will be my last time.

The property was great but since I’m a smoker the only thing I would suggest would be some kind of seating in the designated smoking areas.

It wasn’t overcrowded, very clean and the staff were very sweet. The staff gave my grans popsicles when we were in the pool. Very close to the beach which was convenient.

The room had a damp feeling (like they just washed the rug and the room was closed without the AC on), and the beach is across the street but you have to walk behind another hotel and then down a short boardwalk/sidewalk, so quite a walk with all you bring with you (we forgot our cart but you can rent a wagon at the hotel but they don’t have beach towels to use).

It was a quiet area and the room was clean. The staff was nice and helpful. We loved the complimentary breakfast that included a choice of juice, Coffee, bagels, make your own waffles, toast, scrambled eggs, ham or sausage, muffins, etc.

Entry door is very difficult; likely due to the humidity. Restaurant would have been nice. Prices for snack items are outrageous. No lighting where the coffee machine is located.

Breakfast was absolutely TERRIBLE. Cold and watery scrambled eggs, I don’t think there was bacon or sausage that was edible. No yogurt. Just very limited. Fine if you want cereal. Front desk staff were nice, but didn’t seem like they ever worked in hospitality.

The nastiest of the place, microwave was dirty, the freezer had hair inside, dirty dishes in dishwasher, hair all in bathroom. Luckily we had are own sheets to change beds.
