The mini fridge/freezer was so frozen that the door wouldn't close. Trying to keep anything cold was pointless. There were several light bulbs out making the room dark. The beds were terrible the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in. Goldilocks would have left. I was only staying one night after a concert. They had no luggage carts, apparently the homeless steel them, which makes no sense to me sense it is a "secured" facility. The breakfast was ok. Not much variety for $150. A night. If you are looking for something close to the moda center within walking distance, this is the place to stay. If you like more comfort there are other hotel with the same great walking location.

Found a few hairs on the bed. The smell was not great in the room and hallways. They should have pointed out that my room is adjacent to the street. I booked the room 4 months prior to staying there, so I really think they should have been able to get me a quieter room. I think they should at least have bagels and cream cheese in the complimentary breakfast. Not much selection.

They changed the sheets pretty much right away, after we told them there were some hairs on the bed. Overall, I think they cleaned the room ok. The waffles and syrup were great. Coffee was ok, but my daughter didnt like.

The guy working Monday morning was not very nice, nor friendly. The carpet in the rooms is disgusting, lending to a smell that is not pleasant, lucky I had car spray to mask the funk. The shampoo/conditioner is crappy. All the pillows we had were stained yellow and smushed like they were 10 years old. Everything was just old... Bed was lumpy.

The access to Moda, and the guy working night shift Sunday night. He was fabulous, so helpful and kind. Showers were really nice & clean, as was the bathroom.

THERE WAS LITTLE TO NO breakfast. outside area could have been a little bit better clean. but great location for what we needed. Site we booked on said free parking if we stayed there, they charged us parking!!! that made me upset. Also did not mention $150 refundable deposit ( which we received back as we were clean )!!

Great location for our needs. We were able to just walk where ever we needed to go, so that was nice. was lil bit of homeless places and trash outside but was not nearly as bad as it used to be.

Paid for motel, then get there and have to pay to park at the motel where our room was. Office doors l9cked when breakfast was supposed to be served. Marijuana smell soooo prevalent in the building hard to get away from it. Vending machines empty. Pool empty, but advertised as a motel with pool.

the bed was very comfortable. and the water in shower was hot. Some hotels you cant get it very hot. I loved that it was a tub/shower combo. a nice soak is always appreciated. I thought that having a min fridge and a microwave was common in hotels. this room had both, but I found that I had other friends in other hotels that only had a shower, no tub, and also no refridgerator or microwave. so i was really pleased with that!

Security is lacking! My car was broken into while parked in the underground parking. When I talked to the manager, he immediately placed the blame on me saying I must have left things of value in my car. No, I did not! Come to find out, there are not cameras in this portion of the hotel. Why not? I thought my car was safe parked there, but I guess I was wrong!! Also, the breakfast was very minimal! One morning almost everything was gone. The breakfast area looks very rundown. The area in the parking garage by the elevator seemed like urine. I was told when we checked in that our room would not receive maid service while we were there unless requested. Well, one afternoon, the maid tried to come in the room without being requested. Thankfully we had the top folding lock over. Otherwise, she would have come right in.

I liked the proximity to the Oregon Convention Center. Also, the property seemed fairly clean.

Hotel was a little run down. Not very many guest were there. Need to finish updating some of there exterior. Pool was not open or accessible or filled.

The property has seen better days, and the swimming pool is drained and permanently closed—not that I had planned to swim; it just looked sad. The breakfast was do-it-yourself waffles but with margarine and generic syrup, two kinds of sugary cereals, and really bad coffee (in Portland yet!). I tried it once, but the nearby fast food and family restaurant type places were better.

The location, two blocks north of the Convention Center and within easy walking distance to the MAX light rail, the streetcar, and two bus lines. The room was clean and had a refrigerator and microwave. The hotel is security conscious—you can’t even enter from outside without a key card or being buzzed in. The staff were friendly.

Location, location, location. The hotel was a very short walk to the convention center and three major food chains. Obvious efforts have been made to update the property. On site parking was a bonus as well.

Check in was pretty stressful and things werent really explained the best. I know the guys was pretty busy but there was a whole second charge we didnt understand and werent prepared for, even tho we spoke previously that morning when we paid our deposit. We still havent received that back like they stated we would at checkout.. It was kind of a weird smell in both our rooms. Not unbearable but not pleasant.. and the hallways were pretty hot, even at 2am. The conditioner dispenser in our shower was empty. Definitely could use some black out curtains so you can sleep in a little later. We went to the vending machine for some snacks but they were pretty depleted.

I liked the AC, I liked being within walking distance to our event. It was affordable and overall a very comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, the linens were clean.
