House cleaning didn’t show up for two days. I had to ask the front desk about it and then they fixed the issue. They were great after that! No access to food at the hotel restaurant but nearby good eating places.

My room was spacious and well lit. Great view!

Minor thing - Ramps to roll luggage from entry to elevator would be nice. There are a few stairs.

Service is great! Very nice and helpful staff. Happy hour is nice. Rooms are comfortable, quiet, and clean. Was very convenient to DuPont Circle. Will stay here again. We did not pay for breakfast. Not sure if it is offered or not but we chose to get Starbucks just a couple blocks away the first morning and we were at the airport early the second. So can’t give feedback on that.

The air conditioning unit was too noisy even at low speed.

Great big room, nice large beds, nice bathroom. Friendly and helpful stuff. 5 min walking from the metro station. Nice quiet area, lovely places for eating and drinking around the hotel.

I didn't realize there was a clean water dispenser on each floor until the last day. It would be great if the staff had mentioned that at check-in but this was a very tiny thing. It's a nice amenity.

The room was very nice, great modern decor and very comfortable and spacious The shower was incredible! Loved the location, a little quieter than other parts of DC. It's a very small lobby but that is ok for me, I don't need those type of amenities. I didn't get a chance to go in the adjacent restaurant, the Firefly, but it looked lovely. Within walking distance of the Phillips Collection Museum, which was great. All sorts of restaurants and shops within walking distance, but feels like a neighborhood. I'd definitely stay here again.

The hotel receptionists dont know how to do their job, they almost charged us twice.

We had a studio room with balcony - king bed, L shaped sofa, spacious bathroom. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Refrigerator and coffee in room. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

The room was huge! Just a short walk from the heart of town and so many shops and restaurants. We brought our dog and it was so comfortable

Unfortunately we weren't impressed with the property's partner restaurant. They did make it right, but I really disappointed that they felt it was ok to serve a completely unappetizing dish. We also wished there was a vent in the bathroom to help decrease the moisture after taking showers a little quicker.

The staff was incredibly welcoming when we arrived as well as the entire duration of our stay. We were wished a nice day when leaving and offered bottles of water (very appreciated because we visited for the 4th of July and it was pretty warm). We were welcomed back upon returning. The room was more spacious than other properties we’ve stayed at on vacation - the bathroom was huge! Our kids enjoyed being able to connect to our family’s streaming platforms during down/rest time at the hotel between activities. We LOVED that the location was so close to a couple different Metro stations and lots of great places to eat within walking distance for both breakfast and dinner! And our walks in the area had the most beautiful views, and green-spaces everywhere!!!

With spacious rooms that are immaculately clean, a great location near the Dupont Circle Metro and bus lines, but on a quiet part of the avenue, and exceptionally helpful staff, Hotel Madera has become my new favorite place to stay in Washington.
