Only downside was the amount I paid for parking and the fact that I haven’t received my down payment back..

I stayed at Hotel Lulu in Anaheim last night with my girlfriend, and I just have to give a big shout-out to one of the ladies at the front desk. I think her name was Esperanza. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. I’m used to being judged by the way I look because of my tattoos, but she treated me with the same kindness and respect as anyone else—no assumptions, no attitude, just genuine hospitality. That kind of customer service goes a long way and really stood out to me. Thank you for making our stay such a positive experience. People like her are the reason guests feel valued and want to come back.

The bathrooms need updates. Could use a walk in shower. The tub didn't drain very well. Shower curtain needs to go. It just leaked and flooded bathroom. It was clean just needs remodel.

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Pool area was nice with walk up bar, fire pit and family games. Welcome drink was nice. Hotel decor was cute. Breakfast and room service options were nice. Close walk to Disneyland and Garden walk. Starbucks, blaze Walgreens close by.

Resort Style Hotel In the Heart of Disney Land!
    • Leisure trip

    • Queen Room with Two Queen Beds - North Tower
    • Stayed 2 nights

There is a $35 per day parking fee which I was not aware of until check in also they will hold $100 on your card until you check out so be aware of this if you have a low limit credit card. Being close to Disney Land everything is very expensive. Gas in the area was averaging $5.89 per gallon! The room had a hotpot and instant coffee which was not very good. It had a mini fridge but no microwave. So you could put leftover restaurant food in the fridge but had no way to reheat it. I am not aware of there was one downstairs somewhere.

Hotel Lulu is located on one of the main strips leading to Disney Land in Anaheim. So there are a lot of other hotels and retail shops around it. The hotel staff were very welcoming and the room was clean and comfortable. It also included a fridge. There is NO free breakfast and I did not try the breakfast available from the hotel. There is a IHOP right next door that stays open 24 hours. A CVS/Walgreems and Starbucks are also a short walk to the corner. I also got a free mimosa during my stay which was delicious.

Lighting was awkward to figure out and turn on each lamp in the room. Room was a little dusty but clean over all.

Loved the staff, they were extremely friendly and able to guide me around the town when asked for direction. Helpful in explaining the parking and getting room service to tidy up everyday. Great at giving us early check-in and appericate them allow that so much. Service was above and beyond.

This hotel really needs a BIG renovation, we stayed here 8 years ago, and literally nothing has changed - ACs are loud, bathrooms are old and dated (think 90s). Parking on site is expensive ($32US + taxes per night). Housekeeping is on request.

Walking distance to Disney, friendly staff at reception, parking on site (at cost).Welcome drink on arrival was a nice touch. Complimentary later (1hr extra) departure - just ask ;)
