Elevator was scary to ride in. AC in the room wasn't working correctly. They had a floor AC unit piped to the sliding glass door.......

The hotel is very dated. It definitely needs to be renovated. The air was out

The location to the Mercedes Benz stadium was great. It was about a 15 min walk.

Old building. Elevator is super old. Room is not good, it was smelling bad. Bad bathroom too.

Exceptional location, especially if you’re going to Mercedes stadium. Staff is super receptive and kind. Special thank you for the amazing Shay from the front desk. She was awesome and super kind. Bed was great, White and clean sheets.

The breakfast was terrible. The elevator didn't work so needed to use stairs once. The A/C was not very cold and the heat poured in from the sliding glass door.

Staff was friendly and the location worked for my travel plans. I really appreciated that they provided iced lemon water in the lobby.

It is so much different on the pictures. The lobby was newly renovated and looks modern but the room that I was staying feels like in the 70s. The smell of old carpet in the room was strong. The thermostat is ancient (see picture). I tried to adjust the temperature but it did not seem to work. And the heat is crazy. Already sweating while inside that room before going out to see a concert!

The staff. They are awesome! They are the only best part during my stay!

Old carpets and furniture in the room, the bathroom was shabby, the ceiling light in my room kept flickering. The interiors looked like a cheap motel (which it is). Essentially, you're getting what you're paying for

Clean sheets, towels, toiletries, expansive breakfast spread (including hot items)

The property is definitely old and outdated. The elevator is super old. The room was outdated and was missing drawers from the dresser. Also no parking at the property you have to park in a deck across the street that is dark and made me feel unsafe. No valet either.

The location was close to downtown and they had a lot of towels in the bathroom and the shower was really good!!

The matress was really hard and I had trouble sleeping. I also heard a lot of loud cars and sirens at night. There were hair in the bathtub when I arrived

It is really close to the Aquarium and World of Coca Cola, and when I was having troubles with my key card the staff was eager to help me

The breakfast was high end. Sausage, eggs, waffle makers and so on. The coffee was very good. A little stronger than I make it, but much better than your typical hotel coffee.

I recently stayed at the Balcray hotel, and overall, it was a great experience. The location is fantastic—it's close to key attractions and public transportation, making it really convenient for getting around the city. While the hotel is basic, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room was clean and had all the essentials, like a bed, bathroom, and Wi-Fi. It’s perfect for travelers who just need a place to rest without spending too much. If you're looking for luxury, this isn’t the place, but for a budget option.

Frankly I would prefer the lobby to have a little more razzmatazz.

This is a good hotel for those who want an inexpensive room but don't care about the look of the lobby which is the most plain and strictly functional lobby I have ever seen in a hotel. The room is pretty standard with a flat screen TV and control over the temperature. The bathroom has all the standard features if a bit smaller. There is a shower tub combination rather than a walk-in shower. The beds are comfortable. There are plenty of sockets for all your plug-in needs. It is a good location with a number of the major attractions within walking distance but the immediate area is a bit dreary. Plenty of restaurants nearby, many locally owned and inexpensive. If a hotel is a major part of your travel experience, this is not the hotel for you. If a hotel is just a place to sleep, this hotel is perfectly fine.
