Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SingaporeThe room has stained carpets and furniture is rather old. Lighting is dim with no central switch so one has to turn off each lamp individually.
It’s near the airport and has a shuttle that runs every half hour on the quarter. Rooms and bathroom are a decent size. Breakfast has cold and hot options but fresh fruit is just apples and coffee isn’t very good.

United StatesWe stayed here twice during our vacation. The front desk was not happy to greet us and couldn’t share any information about the area. They did not make eye contact and they did not smile. I needed to do laundry on the second stay and only one washer of 2 worked so it took twice as long. The dryers did not fully dry clothes after a complete cycle. On the second stay we were placed in the room by the ice machine. I asked if the hotel was full and she said no. You shouldn’t use this room unless if is the only one left because hikers get up early and disturb you with the ice. She didn’t see this as a problem. The desk staff needs training. Also while doing laundry I had to go upstairs to use the restroom because staff locked the lobby restrooms.

United StatesIt may largely be the summer anchorage market but the price for a relatively average hotel room was surprising. There were a few maintenance issues like ice machine on our floor wasn't working. Commode seat needed tightened. But nothing major.
