How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Everything was good. Manager called me on a request that I'd made at registration. I was very impressed!
Breakfast was potatoes and meat with vegetables/ eggs scrambled. I'd prefer meat choices separate

Remarkably friendly staff. Great bed. Quiet spot. Breakfast was nothing extraordinary, but we appreciated the cooked options (omelettes + tater tots), the fruit and oatmeal, and the simple non-Greek yogurts. Overall, a quite nice stay for a very low price.

phone in room didn't work, tv took several minutes to connect to service and pixelated. Cleaning staff should not be trying to bring large laundry carts up the elevator during very busy breakfast time on weekend. 3 carts waiting while people staying are trying to use elevator

The key card programming did not work, and required another trip to the front desk. Only one key worked. Beds were a bit too soft.
Breakfast was very good. Room was very clean and quiet. Appreciate the concrete floors, could not hear anyone above us.

The carpet in the hallway looks like it needs cleaning but people go in and out all day so keeping it clean is a challenge.
The remodeled breakfast area is very nice. We have stayed at the property at least 5 times. The hotel is always clean and pet-friendly.

The room was cold and there was no blanket in the room. There was a light outside the window and the curtains couldn’t be closed.

We had a rather late check-in due to traffic tie ups. Rachel, at check-in, was able to see that our room was close by, as we both were exhausted and walk with canes. Her kindness was very much appreciated!

The girl that checked me in at night was rude and unprofessional. She acted as if I have inconvenienced her..she was very curt in her responses and didn't provide any information about breakfast etc. She gave me a room on the ground floor and when I asked if she can move me to an upper level, she said we don't have any other room in that booking range. I requested again if she could check, as Booking.com mentioned 2 rooms and she said oh yes we have one....all this time she was annoyed and unpleasant, made me feel uncomfortable. The rest of the staff like the server for breakfast and the 2 morning front desk girls were absolutely amazing and exceptional in their friendliness and warmth... Thank you, Humera
Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Dove products were great. Morning front desk and breakfast server were phenomenal...absolute joy! I travel a lot on these routes and this is gping to be my new stopover lodge going forward!

Floor of the shower in the bathroom seemed slippery for older people. We are 84 years old and afraid of falling.
The breakfast area was very clean and well-attended. It contained a nice selection of items, including warm, iced sticky bun that were replenished as quickly as they were eaten. This beats the usual selection of breakfast treats that appear at most motel breakfasts.

The basketball team that was screaming and yelling and running up and down the halls until after midnight. They were screaming and yelling trying to intimidate us in the parking lot. They were cussing and saying the N word. The front desk was called and they said they were trying to settle them down but it didn’t work.
