How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No king beds available
Isaiah the front desk worker is always respectful and knowledgeable about his job. Always a pleasure dealing with him. Breakfast is a plus. Wish a little more king beds. I got stuck with double beds. Wasn't quite comfortable.

The price was right. Walked across the parking lot to Perkins Restaurant. The lights in our room were not working so the front desk rep immediately came down to check. When she could not resolve the issue she gave uss a different which actually had a better location. Service was prompt and oshe was very personable. Sorry l did not get her name.

There were a couple of outlets in my room that were not working. I let the staff know.
Breakfast was good. Coffee is offered day and night. The staff is very welcoming without being overwhelming.

Really small and poorly lit bathroom. Separate vanity was useful, though across the entrance hall so not very conveniently placed e.g. for shaving after shower

The location to the site I was going to. The friendly staff was very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good also.

My only complaint is the pull knobs on the in room vanity and shower are very difficult to pull on and off...that should have been changed out during the refresh

It felt comfortable and homey. It didnt feel like a cold, sterile corporate structure. Theyve made obvious efforts to upgrade their facility. It is clean and thge staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The shower didn't work when we arrived, and I was anticipating having to change rooms. But, interestingly, the guy from the front desk must be a pretty talented guy because he changed out some of the hardware and fixed it pronto. Also, it's a little thing, but the outlet in the bathroom didn't work. They had brand new blow dryers, but the cord couldn't reach another outlet.
The room was very clean and recently updated. There isn't an elevator, so if you can't do stairs, you need to ask for a 1st floor room. This hotel is right on our route to our annual vacation and we stop every year. Can't beat the value. You get a clean, comfortable room (great beds) and a great breakfast.

While I found the bed very comfortable, my wife thought it was a bit firm. Still way better than the beaten and lumpy hammocks I've had at other hotels that cost more. I would have preferred a more supportive pillow, but I also usually bring my own and didn't have a chance to on this trip. And while there were no problems with the room being clean, it is a little worn and dated. Not anything I would complain about, just don't want anyone to think it's a Ritz-Carlton. But as I put earlier, I would have no problem staying here again.
Quirky place that was on the route for a short notice trip. Very convenient to the highway, several eateries, and an emergency supply Walmart. Friendly staff at the desk and the breakfast tin the morning was reasonably complete and more than just pre-wrapped mini muffins and old coffee. All in all, if we are in the area again, we would have no problem staying here.

Nothing I didn't like
Great location, Walmart, TJ Max across the street . Walk out the back door to Perkins. Staff super friendly. Levi was at the desk when we checked in, super nice and very accommodating. Our room was just renovated, it was very clean. Nice breakfast bar I would definitely stay again.

I Didn't like the bath tub it needs a little maintenance..
