How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewNothing, the room was dirty and hadn't been cleaned prior to arriving, garbage was on the floor in the corner behind the door. There wasn't any toilet paper. The floor was filthy and sticky and hadn't been mopped. The room smelled horrible like dirty animals and not even the lampshades had been cleaned, they had a thick layer of dust on them. Their were no washcloths to even wash our face. The people above us had their television on all night and it was super loud. Neither one of us slept well. The curtain had holes in it so light was coming inside all night.

First the smoke alarm was removed, the bed covers were stained, the fuse panel was open and filthy, the shower was moldy, there were no dishes, no pots no pans. and the cook top didn't work, the only lighting in the room besides the window was the bedside wall lamp, the plugs in said lamp were so loos it wouldn't hold a phone charger, and it caused the brick to overheat. the room smelled of marijuana and the grounds were covered in dog feces. I will never willingly choose this lodging brand again.

Theft--Had to file a police report. Stayed for one nite for a graduation. Was too early to check in so left bags and florist box and collapsible cooler with front desk. After returning approx 2-1/2 hrs checked in and got everything, except box of flowers leis. Disappointing.

Verified reviewNothing! Rooms were filthy. We had 2 rooms and both were filthy. We turn around and insisted on refund, even though we knew all hotels were sold out due to UofO graduation weekend. Decided we would rather drive 2 hours back and forth to family graduation events than stay in this disgusting hotel!!
Learn how to clean your rooms. Floors were not swept. Hair on the “clean” sheets and in the bathtub. Non-smoking room smelled like smoke and the comforter had cigarette burns in it. Window in one room was broken. Even the hallway floors were sticky and filthy. Sooo disgusting!

We arrived at 11 pm, exhausted after a long day. I went to check in for our reservation but the clerk told me she did not have a clean room ready for us. After a 30 minute wait, she told me a room had been prepared and guaranteed me that the linens were clean. We walked in and pulled back the comforter to find the underside covered in blood stains and grime. It was obviously un-washed from the previous guests (maybe many). We called the office to request another comforter but were told there was not even ONE more clean one available. Ten minutes later the clerk appeared with a thin blanket and took away the filthy comforter. There was only a small amount of cobweb like toilet paper left on the roll for us and no extra roll anywhere. Do not stay at this property. The rooms are dirty. They are understaffed and incompetent. Zero stars. Actually, negative stars!

Verified reviewThe place is very busy but the staff was great at helping me even going out of their way to. I will stay there again its comfortable and the managment is easygoing and helpful.
The only thing that was discouraging was at no fault of the management, staff or facilities maintennace the general population of eugene has diminished in quality of cleanliness and overall concern about their actions effecting others and they are really amune to litter especially thier own , the staff does its best to keep up on it and do a good job for the task at hand

Verified reviewThe room was so thick with the smell of cigarettes that we had to run the AC continuously otherwise we felt nauseated and sick. Even though the property boasts non smoking signs everywhere. After leaving all of luggage and my hair all wreak of cigarettes. The floors were dirty and there was sticky gunk all over the phone. There was what looks like a drug overdose on our first night there. The booking said there was a pool and hot tub but there were neither of these.
