This hotel is definitely you get what you pay for. The pool is small. Out dated our room had a hole in the carpet. The bed not comfortable supposed to be 2 queen beds more like full size.

The pool was (and probably still is) out of service. The one treadmill in the small gym doesn't work. The hotel is mildly dingy. It was probably quite nice at one time but has not been well maintained. The first room I got smelled like smoke so I asked to be moved. Then the night manager had to go to the dryer to get towels for me. I asked if they are short on staff or short on linens and she replied, "Both." I have seen properties like this before: the owner sucks out as much cash as possible while spending the minimum, and then sells it off to a new owner who does a full rehab. I'm guessing this place is about five years from losing its franchise and renting rooms by the hour or by the month.

The location is good, the price is reasonable for the quality of the property, and the staff is friendly. The breakfast consists of sausages, scrambled eggs, and warm biscuits, with the standard selection of pastries and fruits, plus the obligatory waffle maker. And a juice dispenser. This was a pleasant surprise in an otherwise middle-quality hotel.

It looked like they had done some upgrades here and there as far as the rooms go but I would suggest new curtains, new tub and shower surround is definitely due for an upgrade and the toilet, side tables and alarm clock. There was an issue with the TV and the front desk did make me aware when I checked in.

The bed was very comfortable and surprisingly it was quite on the ground floor.

We stayed 2 nights and there were issues with breakfast both mornings --- no plates, no spoons, no juice, no hot water, etc. Attention to restocking was needed.

Everything has been cheaply updated, rooms smell moldy, mattresses are small, old and super uncomfortable, the breakfast selection was small and they close the breakfast down at 9 so a bunch of guest kept coming down to have breakfast and couldn’t.

Run down, second floor smelled like old cigarettes. Room’s security lock was broken off as if someone had broken into the room previously. Ceiling paint ripping off in large chunks above shower.

The whole hotel had a dark feel to it. Everything looked worn out. The plaster in our bathroom was roughly patched, the walls needed painting. The doors were badly scratched. It just had a run down dark look to the room, hallway and welcoming area. The bed was saggy, and chairs in the room had a soiled worn look and feel. In general it needs a good refurbishment.

Our room was quiet. The person that checked us in was pleasant.

Very noisy from construction. Police were called often which was concerning. And the worst part was there was rust coming out of the faucets in bathroom sink and shower. I have a video but can’t upload it. Just one picture.
