How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Nothing. It was great!
The guy that checked me in was very nice and helpful. The remote for the TV in my room didn't work and he promptly helped me get one that did work. Nice room. Great price. Will definitely stay here again!

The shòwer rod was coming off the wall. There was no place to hang my clothes, not even a hook. The pillows were real thin, I used three to achieve a comfort level.
The location was perfect for my needs.

There were some broken pieces in the room that should have been repaired before putting the room into use. A light fixture over a bed was broken and a towel rack next to the sink in one unit was out of the wall. There was a lack of a clothing rack in another room. Towels and toilet paper were in short supply but were supplied immediately when attendant in charge who was still setting up the rooms at 3:30 was asked for them. Sinks lacked control rods for holding water and releasing water. One had to reach under the counter and behind the drainpipe to achieve control. Misinformation regarding Breakfast being supplied. This is Booking .com error as the Hotels own website does not list it as available. When messages were sent to/through Booking.com concerning that, no response came through from anyone to me. Television remote controls in the rooms did not operate as the batteries were in upside down. We corrected that on our own. One room had a very dirty TV screen. Updating of rooms was in progress so some problems were understood.
Pleasant attitude of the staff in meeting our requests. Clean room and comfortable beds. Clean Bathroom and good shower volume of Hot water. Rooms were close together and on the ground floor as requested. Bed configurations were changed in one but kept at the same price.

They didn’t change the sheets, there was hair in the bed, I had to require for clean sheets and I made the bed myself. The room was super dirty, the floor was super dirty and they didn’t clean the bathroom, the bath tub had hair and it was black dirty. I think they just made the bed with the dirty sheets and was it.

No coffee or breakfast. Room smelled moldy and chairs were disgusting. Pillows hard. Toilet unsafe, not properly attached to floor. Could be updated.
Staff nice, good Internet and TV. Clean except for smell.

There was no breakfast like advertised on the site; the towels are extremely uncomfortable; there was no shower curtain; only one dirty towel was provided
The staff was friendly and prompt; the pricing was affordable; parking was accessible and available; the hotel is near the highway and the town’s Main Street; almost everything was clean

Room was kinda dirty didn’t have towels the shower was clogged, and when I went down to ask for some towels and told them my shower didn’t have a shower curtain. I was handed the shower curtain to put it on myself.

On web site it has for free breakfast and they do t provide breakfast...I ask for down stairs room for my mother that is not able to work due to health reason and they had me up stairs...I will never book with this place again..so I don't Stay....I found better place with free breakfast and better room...

they advertised a free breakfast, Was none, No coffee pot in room. Advertised as non smoking room but had burn marks on furniture and in bathroom. We signed up for a king bed and got two queens.
