The Facilities need some TLC The carpets in the hallways were stained and dirty. The vents in the hallways were rusted. The couches in the hall by the elevator were old and the corners dirty and worn cloth. I get that this is in Florida, but it just showed a lack of care. The staff member that checked me in was so quiet in her speaking, like a whisper and no eye contact. in the wrong job. The staff member that checked me out was great. Breakfast was HORRIBLE. The listing and hotel pushed that they had a full service kitchen. Maybe so, but they are not using it. I turned down bacon, which I never do. It was limp, not cooked and the few pieces in the pan were sitting in water. So i chose the turkey sausage, my last choice of meats. The sausage was COLD. Not just warm, but COLD even though I took it out of a warming tray. The eggs were AWFUL. Not fresh eggs, I left the hotel and went to breakfast, so I had to pay twice for breakfast. The room was Ok, it was clean and recently redone. cheap floors but otherwise nice. Will I stay there again. probably not.

5th floor. Corridor/hall was dirty( needed a vacuum) There was no night stand between the beds as in all hotels, no furniture ( chair or sofa) Desk with desk chair. Tub did not drain well. Our room had a door as a joining room and the people in the room next door was loud ( could hear all conversations) until around bedtime (11:30pm). They were there only one night. One bed was extremely squeaky! No one was at desk when we had to leave so I dropped keys in box as we had to leave.

Room was not as advertised. We were supposed to have a sofa and all we had was a stool. Room was dated. Closet doors were falling off.

Most hotels have some type of free continental breakfast. Even hotels not as nice as yours. It’s a nice plus! That was the only draw back. But If you are going to pay 16.99 for a brunch, it should not be so early on a weekend.

The bar.. we had a nightcap after being downtown in St. Augustine. The bed was very comfortable and so was the room. The grounds were very nice… Close to Jacksonville airport.. Staff was very sweet.

The faucet in the bathtub/shower was damaged and you really had to pull the lever up to change the flow of the water towards the shower head. Took 10-15 minutes for the water to warm up ( my daughter’s waited, I just took cold showers.) we were on the 3rd floor and around 2am an alarm went off in one of the adjacent rooms and blared to the point that the battery drained down and you could barely hear it. Disappointed, spend $255 dollars and definitely will not come back.

The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable and clean.

The hotel has a whole lot of potential but locks TLC. I did see the staff being attentive, friendly, and helpful, but also couldn't avoid seeing how the hotel's maintenance has been a bit neglected. This may just be a management's expectation issue, but attention to details definitely goes along way.

I didn't try the breakfast. Found the location just perfect, away from the hassle, yet close enough of a drive to the tourist destinations. The vegetation that surrounds the property is beautiful. The staff is also very accommodating.

There was no safe in the room. As the hotel is out of town a shuttle would have been a bonus. without this we may not rebook on our next visit to the area.

The breakfast was OK, although the hot food had been out for some time therefore we didn't eat any. Bar and reception staff were very friendly.
