The water park area could use some updating

It was a beautiful view, room was nice and clean.

The building was dated but clean. The TV kept loosing signal. Around 1030pm Saturday night power went out in the hall ways, my bathroom had no lights and we could not flush the toilet. We went down to the desk and they told us they have maintenance coming but we could write down our info and the hotel would contact us next week. We went to bed around 1am and power was still not on. It was on when we woke up.

We were given a room that already had someone in it. We then went to go back down to tell someone and then we almost went without a room. Luckily our friends got married so they got upgraded but seemed a little disorganized.

That we couldn't stay longer to enjoy all of the amenities and the check in process they were swamped and rooms were not ready for guests so the 1 lady that was running check in had to keep leaving to check and see if rooms were cleaned before she could check people in

The room was very spacious with a seating area . There is beach access or the indoor water park and a bar/restaurant

Check in was supposed to be 3:00 pm. We arrived at 3:45 and they only had one person working the front desk. When it was our turn, they had to check to see if our room was ready. It should be ready as it was now 4:00 pm. No urgency on the staff to speed up the check in process.

The location was nice being on the lake. They had seating outside where you could enjoy the lake view. There was a pool but we did not utilize

It was dirty in the stairwells full of spider's even in the room, not as dirty but still not ideal. The water park was awesome but dated and not well maintained as well as dirty.

The amenities are great. Restaurant, breakfast, water park, family rooms, on the lake.

The staff was very professional and pleasant, despite being short some staff. It made us appreciate the great job they do when faced with problems. Everything was clean and maintained very well. The restaurant was the same way, a very cheerful attitude was had by all!

Bunk beds didn’t feel safe. Wobbly frame.Pool area needs some major updates, breakfast wasn’t that good. Not many options and they didn’t refill the muffins with over an hour to go.

One of the house keepers came into my room saying he didn't know anyone was in it. And that same housekeeper did the same to a family member the day before however they were missing money out of their wallet and he had their wallet in his hand saying he found the wallet in the hall but it was in the room that was after he told them he brought towels in which they did not request. The house keeper was definitely up to something fishy.

It seems to be in the process of transitioning ownership. The place is very rundown and needs a lot of work.

The main thing is, there is no beach like in the photo, you have to walk to it. And terrible mattresses, softer than pillows

That we were not able to get another room with a lake view the 2nd night staying there and the May flies that were on the building on cars flying everywhere in the front of the hotel in the parking lot. It was difficult to go outside at night due to those bugs.

I loved the room view of the lake for the 1st night we stayed. Then we got another night stay but we weren't able to get the same room nor another room with a lake view due to a wedding taking place. Come to find out there was no sign of a wedding, no guests no wedding atmosphere and we saw there were still many room on the lake side that were unoccupied. So we were lied to then. So the 2nd night wasn't as pleasant and there were a lot of may flies everywhere all over the entire property. It was quite sad that we weren't able to stay in a room with a lake view due to not being able to enjoy the balcony and the view the next day since we arrived at the hotel quite Iate the very first night. We're planning on staying there again this upcoming 4th of July weekend, if there's rooms available, of course.

Our biggest complaint was the pool. I had no idea about the open swim policy, which really lessened the availability we could swim because it was so crowded. I did not like that there was no lifeguard/worker in the pool area. The older kids were absolutely insane and rude. There should have been some employee in there at all times. Since we came specifically for the pool, it was a very big bummer in our stay.

The room was definitely dated, but still great. Breakfast was great!

For my sons 7th birthday, he loved the waterslide/small "waterpark", had a big Ole smile on his face after every 1 of his 20× down slide. Beds were good
