How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The beds were not comfortable. The pillows were very uncomfortable. The ac wouldn’t work in the day time but at night it was very cold.
The property is located in a nice area, easy access to highway and down the road from really nice views. We enjoyed the park nearby. The overnight older lady and older man were awesome! They helped us with anything we needed. They accommodated us and were always friendly. We never had a bad moment with the staff. The restrooms outside of the rooms down at the lobby were always clean. The pool area was nice our kids and I really enjoyed it. The hot tub was awesome. Parking was free and very safe area. We really enjoyed our stay overall. We were a 3 room group.

The food should have been warmer. The trash cans in the dining area were very dirty.
We liked the size of the room! It was also very close off the highway. Staff was pleasant.

The cheese omelet, my husband does not like.
The egg omelets had cheese, which I like, but my husband can't eat cheese. A no cheese omelet would have been a nice option.

The pool was really cold, it needed to be heated, even a little bit, the hot tub needed to be cleaned.
We loved the size of the room! ,The beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was good.

Parking can get full at night.
Breakfast is good. Staff is friendly. The rooms were serviced regularly and no bug bites or creatures. Any concerns were addressed promptly. Best deal and close to shopping/ restaurants.

The breakfast was okay, but we were there several days and there was no variety. One of the treadmills didn't work, but the attendant was very nice.
This hotel was in the perfect location for us to be able to easily visit family. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facility is very clean. The temperature control in the room was perfect and we were able to sleep quite comfortably.

Breakfast was ho-hum and the coffee was terrible. Staff did not engage the guests.

The breakfast area was not kept clean. The trash can out front was overflowing the entire time we were there. The bed was right in front of the air conditioner and made it hard to sleep comfortably. Fire alarm went off one morning and we had to leave before we were ready. Had to get ready for our day at Starbucks.
Location, staff and general cleanliness and upkeep. I did love that you only cleaned our room every 3 nights. Such a waste to clean daily.

Room was dirty, had fast food garbage from previous renters, construction staples found by my daughters foot by the bed, picked up about 8 of them, and turned into front desk. The entrance to the bathroom had tack strip we cought with our feet as well. Didn't hear anything from management, but the desk clerk was very apologetic.
Decent breakfast, front staff lady was amazing, the older lady who checked us in. Quiet. Good area.

It was good. Sheets were a little itchy for me but nothing too crazy.
