They are in the middle of renovations so whilst the sleeping area of room was modern, some aspects were dated like bathroom and furniture. This didn’t take away from the experience.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. The pool was great. The room was spacious and beds were comfortable. Easy to get to and close to plenty of restaurants.

The king bed was very comfortable. Lots of workmen staying here so noisy as they revved trucks at 6:00 a.m. It is fine for a place to spend the night but not much more. We did not partake of breakfast they offered.

The beds were hard as a brick, the entire building smelt like mary Jane! NO elevators (I have a hurt ankle). The shower was not cleaned, the pull out couch was broken and had mold on the cover sheet.

The stairwell smelled of urine. The lamp between the beds was unplugged. The lamp shade between the beds had a stain as well.

The property was maintained with regard to landscaping.

Bath tub had stains..but other than that clean bathroom! The door to the room didn't shut all the way. Had to pull up on the handle to get to to lock! Informed front desk!

I think I paid too much for what I got. Furniture was kind of broken. Bed cover had cigarette burns/ holes in a non smoking room too much smell of weed in the area. and some more minor issues.

Other guests were pretty loud and up late (not the fault of the hotel), rooms just need some minor updates here and there!

Enjoyed the location! Staff were nice and friendly on check in and check out! Room was spacious and had everything we needed!

Did not like the room. We were put in a supposed renovated room; but, the toilet constantly ran (yes, we told the desk and someone came but it was not fixed), the bedding inside the dresser drawer had something on it... blood, nail polish, unknown (yes, I told the desk and took it down for them to see), the floor had not been swept before our check-in as there was garbage and crumbs on it when we entered (yes, I told front desk), the counter was sticky and obviously not cleaned for days, the bathroom was not renovated and was not enjoyable to use for showering, washing, or toilet use as it seemed dirty.

The staff was helpful when my luggage did not arrive with me and they helped me with personal care essentials. The breakfast was awesome! I loved the waffles and my husband (vegetarian) also found enough to eat.

Hurricane Helene took out power to the majority of hotels in western NC. I was thrilled to find one operating. Staff were all courteous even though I imagine they were all exhausted.

The room and property needed some repairs. WiFi was poor at best. Hallways and stairs were extremely hot. It was under current renovation. That said, I would go back only after renovations were completed.

The overall price was a good value. The breakfast was great. The staff were very polite and check in and check out went smoothly.

Bottom of entrance door had a gap about an inch high ( which concerned me due to snakes and insects coming inside ! Last day we were there plenty of food on bar asked the lady working if we could get plates , ( my mom is 83 so I just take her plate to the room) so as I started to fix a plate the lady just stepped in front of me and took all the utensils off the bar ! She was the most unpleasant person like she hated her job, she could have and should have let me at the very least fix my mom something to eat, we were staying there due to a family member having surgery, I just have never felt so disrespected by anyone in the retail business!

First day breakfast was great, plenty of choices and was fresh ! Thumbs up to the young guy that was working that section ! Second day was terrible!
