Beautiful place with stunning sunset views. 15 mins from Mariposa which is a great little town, pizza factory very good there and a big supermarket. You're about 45 mins from Yosemite entrance, we got up early and had breakfast in the car on the way in, it's a lovely drive following the river.

The most stunning view, pictures don’t do it justice. A really unique place, a hybrid between hotel (super high end private, beautifully designed room) and air bnb (home like space and outdoor area shared with other guests) that worked amazingly - we had a great mix of our own privacy but also got the chance to meet some other travellers over morning coffee or by the terrace / tub in the evening. After road tripping for 10 days, it was amazing to be able to cook and do some laundry whilst still having a luxury feel. Super location, gorgeous drive to Yosemite park. Despite sharing the communal areas, people were respectful and always left everything immaculate. Really recommend!!!

While the shower has a glass door, the toilet doesn’t have a door and is basically inside the room behind the bed. Didn’t find the concept hygienic or appealing. Dirt road leading up to the property can make it a little tricky to find but instructions are pretty comprehensive. Mariposa is 10-15 min drive away for food.

All amenities are great including a very nice view and pretty good location to hit up Yosemite (1 hour drive to valley). Great for star gazing as well.

Our stay at Horizon by Yosemite was absolutely amazing! From the location, to the great facilities (pool, jacuzzi, barbecue), the cleanliness, the comfort and of course… the view for the best sunset spot, we definitely had an incredible time. I truly recommend Horizon by Yosemite.

Not a dislike, just a note for future visitors. Midpines is 40 min from park entrance (that's the norm if you don't plan to stay in park). If that's not a concern for you, then no worries.

Wanted to book something nicer for Mother's day, and this was a great option for us. Building design had beautiful ambience, very private. Great place to see the sun rise and fall, and then spend your night with the stars.

Stunningly beautiful home. The common spaces are very nice, the hot tub with views of the sunset and the stargazing bubble made it extra special. Only a 1 hour beautiful drive to Yosemite. Highly recommend as the perfect place to come to decompress and get away from it all. So peaceful.

Breakfast is prepped and left for you in fridge/freezer, so it could get a little 'samey' if you were staying for more than a few days and couldn't / didn't want to get alternative options. And as an air fryer novice, I would have appreciated written instructions on how best to handle the frozen options - there was both a physical and virtual manual for pretty much everything else !!

Property absolutely beautiful, attention to detail everywhere meant that it felt very luxurious without feeling too stuffy. This is not really a 'b&b', more like boutique self-catering shared with maximum up to 8 other guests. All mod cons in the bedroom and communal areas. Sunset views and night sky. Reasonable 40min drive to Yosemite West entrance, and only ~10mins from Mariposa for restaurants or groceries.

It's a bit further from the entrance of the park, with >1 hour drive to most trailheads. However, the comfort, cleanliness and luxurious accommodation than makes up for this extra distance.

Horizon is a beautiful property with well thought out amenities. It is close to the amenities and food options in Mariposa. Communication from Anne was very clear in relation to check in and check out. It was also great to be able to do laundry during our stay, particularly after multiple days of hiking. The drive to the park is about 40 minutes. If you had to wait to get in the park it would take up a lot of your day.

The drive to the entrance is about 30 to 40 minutes depending on how experienced you are with mountain roads. The room is very clean and spacious, the mirror have light and demister embedded with a touchscreen. I absolutely loved the hot tub, you could enjoy the sunset while relaxing in the hot tub outside the common area! Our room has a open bathroom with shower place and bath tub, high end designs like mentioned above. One thing to note is the shower place is not enclosed which is a little cold for me, but no problem at all for others in my group. Overall, this has been an incredible experience and I highly recommend this place!!

Stayed here for 3 nights with my 18 year old son. This place is in one word stunning! Besides that it is brand new, every detail of the property is just magnificent. The owners are architects and you sure can see that! Our host Anne was extremely kind and made us feel at home. At night we used the BBQ and had greet moments around the outdoor fireplace. The property is so private and relaxed that for us it sure was an unforgettable experience!

In recent years, I've been to Yosemite National Park many times. While there are plenty of places to stay around the park, Along highway 140 is a must and this one stands out for its ability to meet the needs of today's lifestyle and provide easy access to Yosemite Valley and all the essentials you need. it is just a ten-minute drive to a nearby supermarket. The room offers breathtaking views and stunning scenery, making it hard to leave and tempting me to simply relax and enjoy the mountain views with a cup of tea. The room is spotlessly clean with high-quality, brand-new furniture. The bed and blankets are extremely comfortable, and the shower has excellent water pressure. Overall, it offers great value for the price, and I plan on staying here every time I visit Yosemite in the future.
