United StatesThe room was definitely dated and in need of a makeover. The rooms are separated from the main building, requiring you to walk outside to get to breakfast. That is fine in summer, but I grew up in Syracuse winters.
The staff was friendly, the location useful, and the room layout practical.

One promise in their marketing is 100% Suite Assurance Guarantee; they promise to do whatever is needed to correct a stay that is less than perfect. These complaints would follow under that. Not enough to make us not stay there, but also big enough I wouldn't give 5 stars. Shower set up is lovely with shampoo, conditioner and body wash on wall in easy to use dispensers. However, our body wash became empty after one shower. Reported it to front desk and it was noted in their white paper book. Told staff we would be gone all day and they could fill it at any time. Sad to discover next day that it had not been filled and there was no body wash for any showers that day. Also shower floor (inside shower) is VERY slippery. Definitely could benefit from some anti-slip strips. Breakfast was very nice, however the first day they had an entire toppings bar laid out for oatmeal but no oatmeal was available. I would have not missed it if I hadn't have seen the wonderful things I might have added to it. If oatmeal is not available, don't put out the toppings. During breakfast, I was emptying my plate into the trash; the older woman working there said "put it in either side, they don't actually separate it". She was referring to trash versus recycle. Since there were containers in the breakfast area, in hallways and in the suite's kitchens clearly designating trash from recycling, it should be separated and dealt with accordingly by the hotel. Helping the environment can't just be something you say to get out of cleaning rooms, sheets and towels each day. If you are going to say you recycle than do (also don't let your employees throw you under the bus). Lastly and most disappointing, I reserved and paid for a King Suite with fireplace. We were so excited to watch TV in the living room with the fireplace on.
Online check in and room selection was very convenient since we were traveling so far and was afraid we would not arrive before midnight. Still needed to check in at desk to find room since facility is so large. Liked the set up of the room, helpful to have separate areas for living, bathroom and sleeping. Didn't use the kitchen but it would have been a nice option if traveling with a family. Breakfast area was very nice. For value, we were very happy and it was very well situated not only near the highway but also local stores and restaurants. Noticed at breakfast that several of the staff knew some guests by name and alluded to the fact that they were long term guest. I felt like that proved the facilities were nice and value based if someone choose to stay there long term when there are so many other options.

Late arrival, staff was prompt with check in. Room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was great! Lately a lot of places have been sparce with breakfast selection. This property had lots of options including fresh fruit, pastries, waffles, hot foot. Also overnight oats and other options for vegans!
