How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Every other day cleaning of room. We had to get extra towels and wash cloths. But was ok once we got extra towels
Loved the breakfast, and room was good. Staff at desk was friendly.

she was drunk when we were check in at 5 pm. But she was drunk when we were check in 5pm But she was kind and good guide.
pool and hot tub. it would have been better if we could have taken a hot spring bath. Breakfast was good menu and delicious. Very comfortable bed.

the bed was a little hard for me and no bacon at breakfast. Sorry I don't eat sausage.
The facility was clean and well maintained. You can tell we stayed at a quality hotel. I loved the alternative foods you provided for someone who has to watch carbs and sugar.

The only issue we had was that the sidewalks were not salted or de-iced after the ice storm that occurred during our stay and was very treacherous to walk on, when parked in back of the hotel, or on the side. I wasn't sure why they didn't have the snow removal service de-ice the walkways.
The suite had everything we needed. The breakfast was very good and the food service woman was extremely gracious and kind. The location is excellent, right across from the park!

It was very cozy and inviting, we were able to get coffee, hot chocolate, & tea whenever. Our original room we were suppose to have smelled and the ladies were very good about switching our rooms. I have been there a handful of times and the staff is very sweet and its very clean! Also i love having a little kitchenette and a couch.

There is nothing that comes to mind. Maybe more pillows and towels but could be easily requested.
From the front desk and staff, to our room we were blown away! The staff were friendly and quick, they were ready and prepared to inform guests and offer services to the events happening in town. The room was massive and provided excellent accommodation for pur family and family we were meeting in town. We were able to celebrate the holiday together and manage to enjoy several of the amenities that were offered at the hotel. My son loved the basketball court and the family also managed to have time to get a swim in. New Year's Eve was a blast and plan to visit again.

My room was dusty. I wasn't looking to pick out things but when you plug in something behind the nightstand and the bed frame and electrical cords are layed in dust you notice. Also the garbage from the previous guest was left in the trash can under the sink.
The room was spacious. Breakfast was your regular hotel breakfast nothing great. It was definitely adequate.

The pool/hot tub wasn’t super clean
Beautiful large rooms and great food. The staff are very friendly. Loved checking in with my phone. The rooms are quiet and enjoyed have the table on wheels.

The carpet squares were sticking up it high traffic area of room and tripped a few times, but everything else was nice
Location perfect for conference it had at Gideon Putnam and rooms very nice. Bed super comfy and great shower
